Duplicate Item when transferring bags

I traded a bag containing a lore item from one toon to another, and the lore item was a duplicate. Instead of the bag being rejected and given back to the originating toon, the duplicate item was deleted and the bag successfully traded.

This is still occurring, but I've noticed that when you hand the bag back to original owner, the item shows up in original slot like nothing happened.
