Monk Coldain Armor Quest

Hi, i seem to be having a problem with getting Lorekeeper Einar to accept the quest items for Monk Velium Armor Quest .. i have the faction required i am at ( Warmly Faction ) eroded leather wrist pattern , 3x crushed flame emeralds.. i hail lorekeeper einar and he says .. " Greetings to you. I seek one that has chosen the path of monkhood. What do you call yourself? " now i read on quest write up i say .. "i call myself a monk" to get him to talk more which is where im having trouble he wont say anything more to me and if handed the items he just declines them.
