BiC stone recovery error with Fezbin Fizzles

I accidentally destroyed the "Shiny gem shard" mistaking it for the jewels that drop in DSP. The gem is the result of completing the BiC #2 Barindu section (​http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/ques ... quest=2869) which you combine with the previous gems from the Qinimi section to give you "a shiny socketed crystal".

I thought I could go back to Fezbin in abysmal sea and request the stone again, as I have the flags for completing the Barindu section, but he gives me the wrong stone. In fact, he gives me the very first stone, "a socketed white crystal" from the #0 Pre-flag BiC quest - not even the one from the Qinimi section. I believe he should give me "a shiny socketed crystal" which is the end result of the Barindu BiC section, unless I'm missing a step.
