Summary

Obtaining the final turn-in for the Bard Epic requires gathering four main items:

Part 1

Maestro's Symphony Page 24 Top (20376)

Step 1

Start off by going to Konia Swiftfoot in Western Plains of Karana. Say "ready" to receive Torch of Misty (20532).

Step 2

Find Fajio Knejo in Misty Thicket. Give him Torch of Misty (20532) to receive Torch of Ro (20533).

Step 3

Go to South Ro and locate Andad Filla (-370, -540). Give him Torch of Ro (20533) to receive Torch of Rathe (20534).

Step 4

Go to Lake Rathetear and find Misty Tekcihta (+2430, +2600). Give her Torch of Rathe (20534) to receive Proof of Speed (20379).

Step 5

Go back to Konia Swiftfoot in Western Plains of Karana in Western Karana. Give her Proof of Speed (20379) to receive Maestro's Symphony Page 24 Top (20376).

Part 2

Maestro's Symphony Page 24 Bottom (20383)

Step 6

Head to Baenar Swiftsong (-20, +100) in South Karana. Say "doll" to receive Solusek Mining Company Invoice (20372).

Step 7

Find Marfen Binkdirple (-300, -1070) in Solusek's Eye. Give him Solusek Mining Company Invoice (20372) to receive Mechanical Doll (20370). He is on the bottom Level.

Step 8

Go to Estate of Unrest and find Serra (+690,-284). Give her Mechanical Doll (20370) to to receive Note for Baenar (20371). She is underwater.

Step 9

Go back to Baenar Swiftsong (-20, +100) in South Karana. Give him Note for Baenar (20371) to receive Note to Maligar (20368).

Step 10

Go to West Karana and find Maligar (+1250, -10900). He has some KoS mobs near him that you might need to kill. You will want to charm Maligar because he is KoS. Once charmed, give him Note to Maligar (20368) to spawn Maligar's Enraged Doppleganger. Kill Maligar's Enraged Doppleganger (Level 45). Loot Maligar's Head (20367) dropped.

Step 11

Go back to Baenar Swiftsong (-20, +100) in South Karana. Give him Maligar's Head (20367) dropped to receive Mahlin's Mystical Bongos (20366).

Step 12

Go back Konia Swiftfoot (-520, -2440) in Western Karana. Give her Mahlin's Mystical Bongos (20366) to receive Maestro's Symphony Page 24 Bottom (20383).

Part 3

Maestro's Symphony Page 25 (20377)

Step 13

Go to to Rathe Mountains. Kill Blackwing (level 35). Loot Onyx Drake Gut (20529) dropped. Kill trash roamers in red circles. Always drops. Fairly common spawn.

Step 14

Kill Nezekezena or Phurzikon in Burning Woods. Loot Red Wurm Gut (20528) dropped. Uncommon Drop. Both Nezekezena and Phurzikon can spawn at either (+2800, + 1030) or (-270, -2550) (see map). PH spawn rates are between 1-2 minutes. They can spawn quite frequently once you find the correct PH. The PH's roam after spawning so you may need to have 2 characters to quickly find the spawn point.

Step 15

Go to Skyfire Mountains and kill Eldrig the Old. He has two potential spawn points. (+1630, -3900) and (+550, -4090) His PH's can roam, so you'll want a character to stand at each of his spawn points while a Bard uses Song of Highsun to send mobs back to their spawn point. Once you have the correct PH's, kill them until Eldrig spawns. Loot Chromodrac Gut (20527) dropped.

Step 16

Go to South Karana and locate Kelkim Menkia (-240, -3660). Give her Onyx Drake Gut (20529) dropped, Red Wurm Gut (20528) dropped, and Chromodrac Gut (20527) dropped to receive Maestro's Symphony Page 25 (20377).

Part 4

Mystical Lute (20538)

Step 17

Go to Ocean of Tears and kill Quag Maelstrom on seafury island. Loot Alluring Horn (20530) dropped. PH's are most cyclops on the island.

Step 18

Go to Butcherblock Mountains and find Vedico Windwisper (+1020, +3010) on the docks in a hut. Give Alluring Horn (20530) dropped to Vedico Windwisper to receive Note to Forpar Fizfla (20378).

Step 19

Go to Steamfont Mountains and find Forpar Fizfla (+95, -530) inside a windmill. Give Forpar Fizfla Note to Forpar Fizfla (20378), then say "component" to receive Forpar's Note to Himself (20380).

Step 20

Kill Phinigel Autropos in Kedge Keep. Loot Kedge Backbone (20524) dropped. He is on a 12 hour respawn. Uncommon Drop.

Step 21

Kill Amygdalan's in Plane of Fear. Loot Amygdalan Tendril (5520) dropped.

Step 22

Kill Drolvarg Warlord in Karnor's Castle. Loot Petrified Werewolf Skull (20525) dropped. Uncommon drop. PH's are the drovarg bodyguards. I took a screenshot of just the warlord room because the entire map is a huge mess for screenshot purposes. (+30, -615)

Step 23

Go back to Forpar Fizfla (+95, -530) in Steamfont Mountains. Give him Forpar's Note to Himself (20380), Kedge Backbone (20524) dropped, Amygdalan Tendril (5520) dropped, and Petrified Werewolf Skull (20525) dropped to receive Mystical Lute Head (20535).

Step 24

Kill dragons to get the each of the following:

Undead Dragongut Strings (20526) dropped - Drops off Trakanon

White Dragon Scales (11602) dropped - Drops from Lady Vox or Gorenaire

Red Dragon Scales (11622) dropped - Drops off Lord Nagafen, Talendor, or Echo of Nortlav.

Step 25

Craft Metal Bits (16905)

1x Metal Bits (16905) – Crafted (Blacksmithing, Trivial 18, Forge)

1x Water Flask (13006) dropped merchant – Bought (Borik Darkanvil, Southeast Trader Building, PoK | Loc: -375 +500)

2x Small Piece of Ore (10500) dropped merchant – Bought (Borik Darkanvil, Southeast Trader Building, PoK | Loc: -375 +500)

Step 26

Go back to Forpar Fizfla (+95, -530) in Steamfont Mountains. Give him White Dragon Scales (11602) dropped, Red Dragon Scales (11622) dropped, and Metal Bits (16905) to receive Mystical Lute Body (20536).

Next, give him the Mystical Lute Head (20535), Mystical Lute Body (20536), and Undead Dragongut Strings (20526) dropped to receive Mystical Lute (20538).

Step 27

You now have all four items needed for your Epic! Go to Dreadlands and locate Baldric Slezaf (+775, +9670). He is inside a pyramid near the Wizard Portal.

Give Baldric Slezaf: Maestro's Symphony Page 24 Top (20376), Maestro's Symphony Page 24 Bottom (20383), Maestro's Symphony Page 25 (20377), and Mystical Lute (20538) to receive your Singing Short Sword (20542)!!
