Bard 1.5 Epic Guide

Prismatic Dragon Blade

You must have completed the Bard 1.0 Epic to begin this quest. The 1.0 bypass aka 1.5 prequest is not available on EQTitan server.

Step 1

Before beginning any quest dialogue you'll want to pre-farm the following items:

• 8x Dragorn Blood - Nobles Causeway and Wall of Slaughter - Drops from Dragorn mobs - Rare Drop - No Trade
• 8x Raw Diamond - World Drop - Tradable
• 8x Enchanted Velium Bar - Summoned by Enchanters, requires Velium Bar - Tradable
• 1x Fire Mephit Blood - Plane of Fire Mephits - Common Drop - Tradable
• 1x Air Mephit Blood - Plane of Air Mephits - Common Drop - Tradable
• 1x Water Mephit Blood - Plane of Water Mephits - Common Drop - Tradable
• 1x Earth Mephit Blood - Plane of Earth Mephits - Common Drop - Tradable
• 1x Storm Rider Blood - Baston of Thunder - Storm Riders - Common Drop - Tradable
• 1x Bubonian Blood - Crypt of Decay Rats - Common Drop - Tradable
• 1x Alkaline Etched Stone - Plane of Justice - Worms (Southeast Cave area) - Uncommon - Tradable
• 1x Metallic Liquid - Plane of Valor Golems - Uncommon Drop - Tradable
• 1x Ice Dragon Crystal - Foraged in Skyfire - Rare Forage - Tradable
• 1x Wind Dragon Crystal - Foraged in Skyfire - Rare Forage - Tradable
• 1x Fire Dragon Crystal - Foraged in Skyfire - Rare Forage - Tradable
• 1x Earth Dragon Crystal - Foraged in Skyfire - Rare Forage - Tradable

Step 2

Once you have all the pre-farm items go to Dragon Necropolis. Kill a mercenary exevator's. There are 12 total PH's. See the yellow circles on the map (3 per circle). They are PH for Excavator Quellin. When Excavator Quellin spawns, kill him (1 groupable) to spawn Tarn Macklin at +1500, -550 (see blue circle) who is also 1 groupable. Loot Cracked Dragon Bone from Tarn Macklin.

While here you also need to get the following 3 items. See Map for locations. You can right-click and view the map if you need to enlarge it. They look like bags on the ground.

• Dragon Wing Bone: +1600, +1000 - Ground Spawn
• Dragon Claw Bone: +900, -600 - Ground Spawn
• Dragon Tail Bone: -180, -1600 - Ground Spawn

All 3 also can drop off of spawned a dragon construct mobs (unconfirmed). Ground spawn is typically easiest.

Step 3

Go to Lantaric`Dar in Wakening Lands (-420, +4000). Give it Cracked Dragon Bone. Receive an emote. He will return the Cracked Dragon Bone.

Step 4

Go back to Dragon Necropolis. Find Hsagra's Shade on the East side of the zone (-265, -2700). Bring a couple of groups. Give Hsagra's Shade: Dragon Wing Bone, Dragon Claw Bone, Dragon Tail Bone, and Cracked Dragon Bone.

Upon turn-in Vesthon Marijakin and 3 zombies spawn. Kill the zombies first ideally, but be quick because Vesthon Marijakin might despawn after approx 3 minutes (unconfirmed). Kill Vesthon Marijakin.

After Vesthon Marijakin is dead, Vesthon Draconic Abomination will spawn. Kill it and loot Blackened Dragon Bone.

Step 5

Go back to Lantaric`Dar in Wakening Lands (-420, +4000). Give it Blackened Dragon Bone to receive an emote.

Step 6

Go back to Dragon Necropolis with a raid. At +1250, -1000 a ring event spawns. Kill the liches and casters surrounding the inactive Dragon on the ground. They each have summoned minions. Once a lich or caster dies, their associated minons despawn and stop respawning. Once all are dead Vesthon Marijakin will become damagable. Kill him to spawn the dragon The Dracoliche of Hsagra. It casts an PBAE 500 DOT and 40% snare that lasts Last 10 min. Kill it. Loot Dark Orb.

Step 7

Go back to Lantaric`Dar in Wakening Lands (-420, +4000). Give it Dark Orb to receive an emote. He will hand the Dark Orb back. SAVE IT FOR EPIC 2.0 QUEST LATER

Step 8

Take a few groups to North Karana and find a dire Griffon (+1150, +1300). Kill it slowly, it will despawn at a certain point and a plains dragon will spawn. Kill it and loot Plains Dragon Crystal.

Do not over DPS the griffon. Damage it slowly. If it dies then the dragon may not spawn

Step 9

Take a few groups to Stonebrunt Mountains and find a dire panda (-550, -1700). Kill it slowly, it will despawn at a certain point and a mountain dragon will spawn. Kill it and loot Mountain Dragon Crystal.

Do not over DPS the panda. Damage it slowly. If it dies then the dragon may not spawn

Step 10

Take a few groups to Jaggedpine Forest and find a dire kodiak (-1600, -1000). Kill it slowly, it will despawn at a certain point and a forest dragon will spawn. Kill it and loot Forest Dragon Crystal.

Do not over DPS the kodiak . Damage it slowly. If it dies then the dragon may not spawn

Step 11

Take a few groups to Swamp of No Hope and find a dire leech (+600, -1900). Kill it slowly, it will despawn at a certain point and a swamp dragon will spawn. Kill it and loot Swamp Dragon Crystal.

Do not over DPS the dire leech. Damage it slowly. If it dies then the dragon may not spawn

Step 12

Go to Temple of Solusek Ro and find Walthin Fireweaver. He's located in the main room on the main level. Give him any one of the Dragon Crystals. He will hand it back. This will also give an invsible flag along with an emote.

Step 13

Next, you will need to make 8 "prisms" using a combination of items you pre-farmed and the Dragon Crystals you just got. Do the following combines to create the 8 prisms. You will need an Enchanter and a Jeweler's Kit. The combines are no-fail so don't worry about leveling up Jewelcrafting.

Earth Dragon Prism

• 1x Brown Diamond of Earth - Summoned (Made by Enchanters - Imbue Earth)
• 1x Raw Diamond
• 1x Earth Mephit Blood
• 1x Dragorn Blood
• 1x Earth Dragon Crystal
• 1x Enchanted Velium Bar - Summoned (Made by Enchanters- Enchant Velium)
• 1x Velium Bar

Wind Dragon Prism

• 1x Cloudy Diamond of Air - Summoned (Made by Enchanters - Imbue Air)
• 1x Raw Diamond
• 1x Air Mephit Blood

Step 14

Once you have all 8 prisms go back to Temple of Solusek Ro and Hail Walthin Fireweaver to receive emote. Do not attempt to turn them in

Step 15

Take a raid to Kithikor Forest and find a cloaked figure. It roams so use tracking. Hail it. It will do an emote and despawn. At this point 4x a malignant shadow will chain spawn. Keep killing them, they will respawn but eventually a shadow thief will spawn. Once a shadow thief is dead everything else will stop spawning. Loot Crest of Rizlona (8 slot container for the prisms) and Note from Metala.

Combine the 8 prisms (From step 13) inside the Crest of Rizlona to create Draconic Prism.

Step 16

Go to South Karana and locate Vhalen Nostrolo (-60, -120). Give him Note from Metala to receive an e-mote. You will also receive Vhalen's Necklace.

Step 17

Go to Plane of Torment with a raid. Find a bruised woman (+200, +850). Give her Vhalen's Necklace (she will return it) to spawn raid boss Metala Von Korach. It has AE silence and AE 500 DoT. Lots of HP. Kill it and loot Rusted Bile Etched Blade (2-slot container)

Step 18

Combine Draconic Prism by itself inside the Rusted Bile Etched Blade to receive Prismatic Dragon Blade, your 1.5 Epic!
