Bard 1.5 Epic Guide

Prismatic Dragon Blade

You must have completed the Bard 1.0 Epic to begin this quest. The 1.0 bypass aka 1.5 prequest is not available on EQTitan server.

Step 1

Before beginning any quest dialogue you'll want to pre-farm the following items:

• 8 x Dragorn Blood (77639) dropped - Nobles Causeway and Wall of Slaughter - Drops from Dragorn mobs - Rare Drop - No Trade
• 8 x Raw Diamond (15981) dropped merchant - World Drop - Tradable
• 8 x Enchanted Velium Bar (22099) - Summoned by Enchanters, requires Velium Bar - Tradable
• Fire Mephit Blood (29521) dropped - Plane of Fire Mephits - Common Drop - Tradable
• Air Mephit Blood (29524) dropped - Plane of Air Mephits - Common Drop - Tradable
• Water Mephit Blood (29522) dropped - Plane of Water Mephits - Common Drop - Tradable
• Earth Mephit Blood (29523) dropped - Plane of Earth Mephits - Common Drop - Tradable
• Storm Rider Blood (29526) dropped - Baston of Thunder - Storm Riders - Common Drop - Tradable
• Bubonian Blood (29346) dropped - Crypt of Decay Rats - Common Drop - Tradable
• Alkaline Etched Stone (21954) dropped - Plane of Justice - Worms (Southeast Cave area) - Uncommon - Tradable
• Metallic Liquid (29956) dropped - Plane of Valor Golems - Uncommon Drop - Tradable
• Ice Dragon Crystal (12781) - Foraged in Skyfire - Rare Forage - Tradable

Step 2

Once you have all the pre-farm items go to Dragon Necropolis. Kill a mercenary excavator in Dragon Necropolis. There are 12 total PH's. See the yellow circles on the map (3 per circle). They are PH for Excavator Quellin in Dragon Necropolis. When Quellin spawns, kill him (1 groupable) to spawn Tarn Macklin in Dragon Necropolis(see blue circle) who is also 1 groupable. Loot Cracked Dragon Bone (77608) dropped.

While here you also need to get the following 3 items. See Map for locations. You can right-click and view the map if you need to enlarge it. They look like bags on the ground.

• Dragon Wing Bone (77611) dropped: +1600, +1000 - Ground Spawn
• Dragon Claw Bone (77609) dropped: +900, -600 - Ground Spawn
• Dragon Tail Bone (77610) dropped: -180, -1600 - Ground Spawn

All 3 also can drop off of spawned a dragon construct mobs (unconfirmed). Ground spawn is typically easiest.

Step 3

Find Lantaric`Dar in The Wakening Lands. Give Lantaric`Dar Cracked Dragon Bone (77608) dropped. Receive an emote. He will return the Cracked Dragon Bone (77608) dropped.

Step 4 == #Step4 verify

Find Hsagra`s shade in Dragon Necropolis on the East side of the zone. Bring a couple of groups. Give Hsagra's Shade: Dragon Wing Bone (77611) dropped, Dragon Claw Bone (77609) dropped, Dragon Tail Bone (77610) dropped, and Cracked Dragon Bone (77608) dropped.

Upon turn-in Vesthon Marijakin in Dragon Necropolis and 3 zombies spawn. Kill the zombies first ideally, but be quick because Vesthon might despawn after approx 3 minutes (unconfirmed). Kill Vesthon and loot Blackened Dragon Bone (77612) dropped.

After Vesthon is dead, Vesthons Draconic Abomination in Dragon Necropolis will spawn. Kill the abomination.

Step 5

Find Lantaric`Dar in The Wakening Lands. Give Lantaric`Dar Blackened Dragon Bone (77612) dropped to receive an emote.

Step 6

Go back to Dragon Necropolis with a raid. At +1250, -1000 a ring event spawns. Kill the liches and casters surrounding the inactive Dragon on the ground. They each have summoned minions. Once a lich or caster dies, their associated minons despawn and stop respawning. Once all are dead Vesthon Marijakin in Dragon Necropolis will become damagable. Kill Vesthon to spawn the dragon The Dracoliche of Hsagra in Dragon Necropolis. It casts an PBAE 500 DOT and 40% snare that lasts Last 10 min. Kill the dracholice. Loot Dark Orb (77613) dropped.

Step 7

Find Lantaric`Dar in The Wakening Lands. Give LantaricDar [[Item(77613, Dark Orb)]] to receive an emote. LantaricDar will hand it back. SAVE IT FOR EPIC 2.0 QUEST LATER

Step 8

Take a few groups and find a Dire Griffon in Northern Plains of Karana. Kill the griffon and it will despawn at a certain point and a Plains Dragon in Northern Plains of Karana will spawn. Kill the dragon and loot Plains Dragon Crystal (77615) dropped.

Step 9

Take a few groups and find a Dire Panda in Stonebrunt Mountains. Kill the panda and it will despawn at a certain point and a Mountain Dragon in Stonebrunt Mountains will spawn. Kill the dragon and loot Mountain Dragon Crystal (77617) dropped.

Step 10

Take a few groups and find a Dire Kodiak in The Jaggedpine Forest. Kill the kodiak and it will despawn at a certain point and a Forest Dragon in The Jaggedpine Forest will spawn. Kill the dragon and loot Forest Dragon Crystal (77616) dropped.

Step 11

Take a few groups and find a Dire Leech in Swamp Of No Hope. Kill the leech and it will despawn at a certain point and a Swamp Dragon in Swamp Of No Hope will spawn. Kill the dragon and loot Swamp Dragon Crystal (77614) dropped.

Step 12

Find Walthin Fireweaver in Temple of Solusek Ro. Walthin is located in the main room on the main level. Give Walthin any one of the Dragon Crystals. Walthin will hand it back. This will also give an invisible flag along with an emote.

Step 13

Next, you will need to make 8 "prisms" using a combination of items you pre-farmed and the Dragon Crystals you just got. Do the following combines to create the 8 prisms. You will need an Enchanter and a Jeweler's Kit. The combines are no-fail so don't worry about leveling up Jewelcrafting.

Step 14 == #Step14 verify

Once you have all 8 prisms go back to Temple of Solusek Ro and Hail Walthin Fireweaver to receive emote. Do not attempt to turn them in

Step 15

Take a raid and find a cloaked figure in Kithicor Woods. Hail the figure. The figure will do an emote and despawn. At this point 4 x a malignant shadow in Kithicor Woods will chain spawn. Keep killing them, they will respawn but eventually a shadow thief in Kithicor Woods will spawn. Once a shadow thief is dead everything else will stop spawning. Loot Crest of Rizlona (77626) dropped (8 slot container for the prisms) and Note from Metala (77627) dropped.

Combine the 8 prisms (From step 13) inside the Crest of Rizlona (77626) dropped to create Draconic Prism (77628).

Step 16

Find Vhalen Nostrolo in Southern Plains of Karana. Give Vhalen Note from Metala (77627) dropped to receive an e-mote. You will also receive Vhalen's Necklace (77629).

Step 17

Take a raid and find a bruised woman in Plane of Torment. Give the woman Vhalen's Necklace (77629) (she will return it) to spawn raid boss Metala Von Korach in Plane of Torment. Metala has AE silence and AE 500 DoT. Lots of HP. Kill Metala and loot Rusted Bile Etched Blade (77630) dropped. (2-slot container)

Step 18

Combine Draconic Prism (77628) by itself inside the Rusted Bile Etched Blade (77630) dropped to receive your Epic 1.5 Prismatic Dragon Blade (77631) merchant!!
