• If you have completed Berserker Epic 1.0 and lost or deleted the axe, hail Keras McArik in Lake of Ill Omen to replace it

Step 1 Lake of Ill Omen

1. Find Keras McArik in Lake of Ill Omen
   • Optional: hail, "master the fires"
2. Say "great stride" to receive Medal of Blood (60190) and Throwing Axe of the Spirit (60189)

Step 2 Lake of Ill Omen

1. Find Lingering Axefall in Lake of Ill Omen
   • 10 minute respawn if killed
2. Give Axefall Throwing Axe of the Spirit (60189) to receive Bore Axes of the Spirit (60191)
3. Put these axes in your ranged slot and hotkey "ranged attack"
4. Say "defeat" to Axefall, he will begin to follow you around
5. Go a little north over the hill and you'll see Impervious Bloodbeast in Lake of Ill Omen (see map)
6. Kill the Bloodbeast and loot Bloodbeast Tooth (60192) dropped
   • Use the Bore Axes to ranged attack the bloodbeast
   • Say "axes" to Axefall for more Bore Axes - increased damage with Throwing skill
   • 800 point damage shield and does not move - stay out of melee range

Step 3 Lake of Ill Omen

1. Head back to Keras McArik in Lake of Ill Omen
2. Give him Medal of Blood (60190) and Bloodbeast Tooth (60192) dropped to receive 3x McArik-Crafted Bandage (60193) and Medal of Mirages (60194)
3. Say "challenge" to receive Sealed Note for Mardic (60195)

The bandages are for the next step but are not really that useful. They are not required to complete the Epic.

Step 4 Field of Bone

1. Find Mardic Crimsonsteel in Field of Bone - see map
   • Optional: hail
   • Get buffed, healed and prepared for a solo encounter before giving the note
2. Give him Sealed Note for Mardic (60195) to be ported into a room
3. Inside you will see Berserker`s Image in Field of Bone - spawns after a few seconds
   • Level 46 mob
   • You must do this solo
   • Use the bandages from Step 3 if necessary
   • The Image will stop attacking for 20 seconds every 25% health to give you time to heal
4. Kill the Image and loot Axe of Lost Souls (5658) dropped
5. Berserker`s Image in Field of Bone will spawn
   • Optional: hail
6. Say "return" to receive a character flag and be moved back to Mardic on the beach
7. Hail Mardic to receive Image Essence (60196)

Step 5 Lake of Ill Omen

1. Return to Keras McArik in Lake of Ill Omen
2. Give Keras Medal of Mirages (60194) and Image Essence (60196) to receive Medal of Strategy (60198)
3. Say "strategize in battle" to receive Note for Treanik (60199)

Step 6 Dagnor's Cauldron

1. Find Treanik Ireblade in Dagnor's Cauldron
2. Give Treanik Note for Treanik (60199) to spawn Praklion of the Cauldron in Dagnor's Cauldron
   • Optional: say "beast fights", "sense of strategy"
3. Kill Praklion and loot Treanik's Tarnished Axe (60200) dropped
   • Spawns in the water - may need enduring breath or similar
4. Return to Treanik and give Treanik's Tarnished Axe (60200) dropped to receive Bone Trinket (60201)

Step 7 Lake of Ill Omen

1. Return to Keras McArik in Lake of Ill Omen
2. Give Keras Medal of Strategy (60198) and Bone Trinket (60201) to receive Medal of Fervid Rage (60202)

Step 8 Plane of Fear

1. Go to Plane of Fear
2. Kill a scareling
   • They spawn around the zone - a tracker helps here
   • Chance to spawn Enraged Imp when killed - low chance
3. Kill Enraged Imp in Plane of Fear to spawn an Ireblind Imp
4. Kill Ireblind Imp in Plane of Fear and loot Burning Essence of Rage (60203) dropped
   • Bring a strong group
   • Casts Shocking Aura (PBAE Mez, -1000 Magic Based)
   • Spawns Essence of Rage adds

Step 9 Lake of Ill Omen

1. Return to Keras McArik in Lake of Ill Omen
2. Give Keras Burning Essence of Rage (60203) dropped and Medal of Fervid Rage (60202) to receive Medal of Hunting (60204)
3. Say "do" to receive McArik Reagent Satchel (60205) (4 slot container)

Step 10 Collect Items

You'll need to collect 4 items:

1. Loot Decaying Liver (60206) dropped from Disease-Ridden Gorilla in The Emerald Jungle
   • Single spawn point at -75x -1515y - paths around the zone - 10ish minute respawn
   • Place holder: a tottering gorilla - kill totterings until one spawns at the location
   • 

2. Loot Gnashing Kobold Paw (60207) dropped from Gnashing Kobold in Stonebrunt Mountains
   • Single spawn point at 2350x 1880y - paths around the zone - 10ish minute respawn
   • Place holder: a kobold
   • 

3. Loot Scent Gland (60208) dropped from Reeking Skunk in Toxxulia Forest
   • Single spawn point at 475x, 1850y - paths around the zone - 10ish minute respawn
   • Place holder: a large skunk
   • 

4. Obtain one Philter of Major Translocation (96467) - tradable

5. Combine the four items in McArik Reagent Satchel (60205) to create Bag of Image Essence Dust (60209)

Step 11 Lake of Ill Omen

1. Return to Keras McArik in Lake of Ill Omen
2. Give Keras Bag of Image Essence Dust (60209) and Medal of Hunting (60204) to receive Medal of Mastery (60210)

Step 12 Warsliks Woods

1. Bring 1000 platinum
2. Find Lurking Hopeful in Warsliks Woods
   • Spawns between between 10pm and 7am game time
   • Spawns at 629x 176y
   • Optional: hail
   • Recommend levitate to avoid having to swim in the river
3. Give her Medal of Mastery (60210) - she will return it
4. Give her 1000pp - she will depawn
5. Now go North along the shore a bit until you see Raving Goblinmaster in Warsliks Woods
   • It will not attack at this point
6. Say "ready" to the Goblinmaster
   • This causes him to run north along the shoreline
   • Follow him
7. Along the way you will see 3 separate packs of 5x a frantic goblin in Warsliks Woods
8. Kill these packs of frantic goblins
   • He stops at the spawn points and waits a bit then starts moving again on his own
9. Lastly you'll run into 1 pack of 3x Ferocious Goblin in Warsliks Woods
10. Kill the ferocious goblins
11. Keep moving north along the shore to the final fight spot (see map)
12. Once Raving Goblinmaster is at the final fight spot the KOS version will spawn Raving Goblinmaster in Warsliks Woods
    • Hail Goblinmaster and kill it
    • Hits for approx 500
    • A group of level 65s should be more than enough for this
13. Kill the Goblinmaster and loot Maniac's Garbled Tome (60211) dropped

Step 13 Final Turn In

1. Return to Keras McArik in Lake of Ill Omen
2. Give Keras Maniac's Garbled Tome (60211) dropped and Medal of Mastery (60210) to receive your Epic 1.0: Kerasian Axe of Ire (68299)!
