Berserker 2.0 Epic Guide

Vengeful Taelosian Blood Axe

To begin this quest you must have completed the Berserker 1.5 Epic quest.

The following steps are pre-lootable:

Step 5 - Lightning Core (Anguish/Muramite Proving Grounds)

Step 10 - Globe of Discordant Energy (Anguish)

Step 1

Go to Keras McArik (-100,-3400) in Lake of Ill Omen. Say "find out" to receive emote:

Step 2

Grab 1 other person and head to The Hole and look for Julei Direaxe.

Take the underground rock door side to zone in. Once inside run down to the area with the massive constructs. At this point look at the map and head to the Red Circle 1. At Red Circle 1 you’ll see a grate that goes underwater. Open the grate and pop up out of the water on the other side. Julei Direaxe will be right there as you pop out, and when you do she will stand up and start pathing.

Escort her. She will make a huge loop back to the zone in and then back to the archway that is near the massive constructs (Red Circle 2). Once she gets here she will depop/warp back to her original spawn point (at least she did for me). Go back to where you originally found her and Hail her again to receive Julei's Twilight Pendant.

*You may not have to escort her and can just wait at her spawn point while she paths around, but this is not confirmed*

Step 3

Go back to Keras McArik (-100,-3400) in Lake of Ill Omen. Give him Julei's Twilight Pendant to receive emote:

Say "enhance my axe"

Say "items"

Say "gems"

Say "metals"

Step 4

Go to Steamfont Mountains and find Greeble Blacktoe (-1100, -1400).

• Hail him.

• Say "power my axe"

Step 5

Farm for a Lightning Core. This is a very rare drop from Anguish or Muramite Proving Grounds. It only drops off lightning warrior type mobs. It is tradable.

Step 6

Go to The Bloodfields and locate Tarvash Scriller (-500, +1130). Give him 5pp then give him 50pp. You'll receive emotes:

Step 7

Go to Nobles' Causeway with a raid and kill Bazu Smasher. Bazu Hulks spawn frequently during the fight. Kill them as they spawn. Loot Faceted Moonstone.

Bazu Smasher casts PBAE stun and a Targeted AE 1500 DD

Bazu Hulk adds cast a Targeted AE 1500 DD, a single target root, and a single target mana drain.

Step 8

Go to The Ruined City of Dranik and locate Grithyank Avlonnon (+830, +1100).

• Say "i wish to enhance"

• Say "i wish to learn"

Step 9

Go to Grieg's End with a small raid and locate an ancient necromantic shade. He AE ramps, but is slowable. Hits 2.5k+. Kill it and loot Shadowed Bronze Lump.

There are guards in the room you can pull out. The guards flurry and hit 2k+.

Step 10

Raid Anguish and obtain a Globe of Discordant Energy.

Drops from the following events:

Keldovan the Harrier/Jelvan (only one of the two based on who you kill last)

Warden Hanvar/Ture (only one of the two based on who you kill last)

Arch Magus Vangl

Overlord Mata Muram

Step 11

Go to back to Keras McArik (-100,-3400) in Lake of Ill Omen. Give him:

Lightning Core

Faceted Moonstone

Shadowed Bronze Lump

1.5 Epic: Raging Taelosian Alloy Axe

to receive Unhoned Vengeful Taelosian Blood Axe.

Step 12

Go back to The Ruined City of Dranik and locate Grithyank Avlonnon (+830, +1100). Give him Unhoned Vengeful Taelosian Blood Axe and Globe of Discordant Energy to receive your 2.0 Epic: Vengeful Taelosian Blood Axe!
