1) Go to the following zones and forage the following items:

Misty Thicket - [[Item(20465, Sweetened Mudroot)]]

2) Once all 4 items have been obtained, combine them [[Item(17860, Shiny Tin Bowl)]] to create [[Item(20473, Hardened Mixture)]]. Keep the bowl as well.

== Step 8 == #Step8

**this quest does not allow you to turn in a full stack of batwings at once. must be unstacked. it also mentions that you get multiple copies of flare but the npc actually gives you two different spells** Next you need Keepers of the Art Faction. Buy 3,000 [[Item(13068, Bat Wing)]] from any merchant (Ex: [[NPC(202138, Darius Gandril)]].) Give them to [[NPC(62021, Niola Impholder)]]. You can reach her via the middle teleport pad. You can turn them all at once stacked together. This should be enough to get you to Ally with Keepers of the Art. Ally isn't necessary (only need Amiable), but I'd just go all out since it is so easy to obtain. You'll also get a bunch of copies of level 1 Mage Spell: Flare upon turn-in so have some bag space. Just sell them.

You must be at least Indifferent faction to do this quest. If you are not indifferent, you are likely close. You can check with /faction. Kill a few of the following NPC's on the list in the link to get to Indifferent. I just killed the ones in Neriak Foreign Quarter.

== Step 14 == #Step14

Kill [[NPC(102126, Venril Sathir)]]. The version of Venril Sathir you're looking for is the "triggered version". The triggered version is spawned from [[NPC(102099, Venril Sathirs remains)]] who spawns approx 12 hours after the death of the regular Venril Sathir.

Once you find Venril Sathir's remains, give it [[Item(10295, Summoned: Firefly Globe)]] ( [[Item(15237, Spell: Dance of the Fireflies)]], can only be summoned at night ). This will spawn [[NPC(102123, Spirit of Venril Sathir)]]. Give Spirit of Venril Sathir the level 49 Cleric [[Item(15392, Spell: Resurrection)]] to spawn Venril Sathir. Kill Venril Sathir and loot [[Item(20461, Pusling Green Stone)]]. He will drop two but you only need one. They are lore so bring someone along with you who might need one also.

Upon death, there is a chance that [[NPC(51141, corrupted shaman)]] will spawn. corrupted shaman drops [[Item(20689, Clean Lakewater)]]. Loot it. This can potentially be a long camp. PH respawn is 5 minutes.

Locate [[NPC(96018, Dolgin Codslayer)]]. Dolgin is in the "oasis" on the southern most island and his respawn time is estimated at 12 hours. Give Dolgin [[Item(20696, Froglok Essence)]]. Dolgin will hand it back and a weak version of [[NPC(96073, Faydedar)]] will spawn. Kill Faydedar and loot [[Item(20687, Pod of Seawater)]]. A group of 60's should be able to handle this.
