Druid 2.0 Epic

Staff of Everliving Brambles (62880)

To begin this quest you must have completed the Druid 1.5 Epic quest.

Pre-Lootable Steps

• Step 1 - Forage 2x Rune Fragments from Barindu or Qinimi
• Step 8 - Obtain a Clump of Refined Ancient Taelosian Clay
• Step 10 - Loot Pulsing Frozen Heart from "Experiment" mobs in Velketor's
• Step 13 - Loot Globe of Discordant Energy from Anguish

Step 1 - Forage

• Forage Rune Fragment (62865) and Rune Fragment (62866) from Barindu, Ferubi, Qinimi or Riwwi

Step 2 - Qinimi

• Find a broken ritesdancer in Qinimi, Court of Nihilia - multiple spawn points with placeholders
• Say "rune fragments" to receive Rune Fragment (62867)
• If faction is too low you will instead receive Threadbare Cloth Bag (62890) and one Undamaged Noc Fang (62864) dropped - gather 5 more fangs and combine to create Closed Cloth Bag (62891) and give it to ritesdancer to receive the rune fragment

Step 3 - Abysmal

• Find Reyfin Malakwa in The Abysmal Sea
• Hail to receive Ragged Cloth Bag (62881)
• Combine the three Rune Fragments in the Ragged Cloth Bag to create Wrapped Cloth Bag (62882)
• Give the Wrapped Cloth Bag to Reyfin to receive a character flag and Rune of Yuisaha (62868)

Step 4 - Nedaria's Landing

• Find Historian Finrazel in Nedaria's Landing
• Hail and say "yuisaha" (optional)
• Give him Rune of Yuisaha (62868) to receive a character flag
• Say "plan to find" to receive Thick Leather Bag (62884)

Step 5 - Bosses

Kill four bosses in various zones. These can be done in any order. The first two are easily groupable, the third is groupable but don't plan to kill adds, and the fourth is a small raid (boss has 3,300 max hit and 1.5M hp). Two hour respawn timers.

• Tranlinor the Maimed in Dranik's Scar spawned by Tranlinor Trigger in Dranik's Scar at approximately -655, +1065 (just north of the red circle in the picture below, you can ignore the purple circle) and loot Wind Shard (62873)

• Bazu Scavenger in Nobles' Causeway and loot Frost Shard (62871) dropped

• Enter the area near Lightning Trigger in Wall of Slaughter, which on EQTitan is just under the "L" in "Level" in the picture below, not all the way west at the dead end.
• Retired Soldier in Wall of Slaughter and two a nervous guardian in Wall of Slaughter will spawn
• Kill both nervous guardians and the retired soldier will despawn and Lightning Lord in Wall of Slaughter will spawn and attack
  • Casts 5810 Electric Shock (Self, damage shield)
  • Spawns several Lightning Loyalist in Wall of Slaughter
• Kill the lord and loot Rain Shard (62872) (chance to spawn chest)
• Lightning Lord boss has 320k hp, Lightning Loyalist adds have 900k hp. Burn down the boss, loot the item on Druid, and TL out (or you can use Exodus on Druid if just running a single group).

• Enter the area near Gorlakt Trigger in Qinimi, Court of Nihilia
• Spiritlord Body in [[NPC(281141 and Mastruq Commander Gorlakt in Qinimi, Court of Nihilia will spawn
• Body casts 5809 Body Warp (Single Lifetap)
• Mind casts 5808 Mind Warp (PBAE Reduced Spell Haste and Cancel Magic, curse)
• Gorlakt will be hp locked at 100% until both spiritlords are dead and will inherit the spell of the first to die

Step 6 - Combine

• Combine the four shards in Thick Leather Bag (62884) to create Synched Leather Bag (62885)

Step 7 - Abysmal Sea

• Return to Historian Finrazel in Nedaria's Landing and give him the bag (optional)
• Return to Reyfin Malakwa in The Abysmal Sea
• Give him Synched Leather Bag (62885) to receive a character flag and the bag returned

• Find Silanda Leafdew in The Abysmal Sea and give the bag to receive the bag back along with Insulated Container Sketch (62875)

Step 8 - Taelosian Clay

• Loot Chunk of Broken Ancient Stone Worker (58026) dropped from several mobs in riwwi, barindu, tipt
• Either give the chunk to Hiloan O`Yviania in The Abysmal Sea or combine in a pottery wheel to create Clump of Refined Ancient Taelosian Clay (58031)

Step 9 - Pottery

• Combine Clump of Refined Ancient Taelosian Clay (58031) and Insulated Container Sketch (62875) in a Kiln to create Insulated Container (62876) (3 slot container)

Step 10 - Velketor's Labyrinth

• Loot Pulsing Frozen Heart (62877) dropped from Failed Experiment in Velketor's Labrynth (place holder is a crystal sentinel) at -24x -203y

Step 11 - Combine

• Combine Synched Leather Bag (62885) and Pulsing Frozen Heart (62877) dropped in Insulated Container (62876) to create Frozen Rain Spirit (62878)

Step 12 - Burning Woods

• When a druid on this step enters the zone a crippled wurm in The Burning Wood spawns
• Kill and loot Everburning Jagged Tree Limb (62879)

Step 13 - Anguish

• Raid Anguish, the Fallen Palace and obtain a Globe of Discordant Energy (47100) dropped
• Drops from the following events:
  • Keldovan the Harrier/Jelvan (only one of the two based on who you kill last)
  • Warden Hanvar/Ture (only one of the two based on who you kill last)
  • Arch Magus Vangl
  • Overlord Mata Muram

Step 14 - Final Combine

• Go to Anguish and combine Everburning Jagged Tree Limb (62879) and Frozen Rain Spirit (62878) and Globe of Discordant Energy (47100) dropped in Insulated Container (62876) (only works in Anguish) to create Essence of Rainfall (62883)
• Yuisaha briefly spawns
• Combine Essence of Rainfall (62883) and Staff of Living Brambles (62863) merchant (Epic 1.5) in Insulated Container (62876) to create your Epic 2.0 Staff of Everliving Brambles (62880)
