• Step 17 - Loot Essence of Sunlight (tradable) from South Ro giants or Chromoadracs in Skyfire Mountains
• Step 18 - Forage Glow Lichen (tradable) in Nektulos Forest
• Step 19 - Ground spawn Abysmal Moonwater in Abysmal Sea
• Step 20 - Get Brewing to 162
• Step 21 - Create Prismatic Dye and Dragon Oil Egg with Brewing
• Step 22 - Create Glowing Concoction with Brewing
• Step 23 - Create Incandescent Oil with Brewing

Step 1 - Burning Woods

• Find a sarnak imitator in The Burning Wood
• Say "prepared" to receive Tattered Illegible Tome (57918) (10-slot container)
• This is a required first step

Step 2 - Ground Spawns

Collect 10 Cryptic Pages (ground spawns) from around Norrath. You can collect them in any order.

1. Ocean of Tears
2. Howling Stones
3. Old Sebilis
4. Najena
5. Temple of Cazic-Thule
6. Skyshrine
7. Velketor's Labyrinth
8. Crystal Caverns Spawns
9. Fungus Grove
10. Crypt of Nadox

1) Ocean of Tears - Spawns near two alluring sirens at 9280x 526y (slightly different than what map shows)

2) Howling Stones - Drop down below the zone in. It is at the end of one of the tunnels next to some skeletons.

3) Old Sebilis near the jail area. See map.

4) Najena. It is on a table next to a light. In the Jail area. This is behind locked doors.

5) Temple of Cazic-Thule - see map

6) Skyshrine - Go through the maze, you'll spawn in a room with an orb in the back. Click the orb to port up. Take the first door on our left. Quest NPC's are in this room. Spawns in front of Lothieder Fe'Dhar.

7) Velketor's Labyrinth at the upper kobald camp. First hut on the left.

8) Crystal Caverns - Spawns at Queen Dracnia.

9) Fungus Grove at in the Shik'nar caves.

10) The Crypt of Nadox on a table.

Step 3 - Combine

• Combine all 10 Cryptic Pages in Tattered Illegible Tome (57918) to receive Complete Illegible Tome (54267)

Step 4 - Burning Woods

• Return to a sarnak imitator in The Burning Wood and turn in Complete Illegible Tome (54267) to receive an emote and hidden flag

Step 5 - Plane of Knowledge

• Find Grand Librarian Maelin in Plane of Knowledge at the top of the library (use the voice to skip the elevator)
• Say "jeb" to receive Note to Lobaen (52950)
• Find Illusionist Lobaen in Plane of Knowledge
• Give Lobaen Note to Lobaen (52950) to receive Sealed Documents (52959)

Step 6 - Burning Woods

• Return to a sarnak imitator in The Burning Wood and turn in Sealed Documents (52959) to receive a book Assembling the Staff (54286)

Step 7 - Natimbi

• Find an enticing potameid in Natimbi, The Broken Shores , kill and loot Sullied Gold Filigree (52963) dropped

Step 8 - Halls of Honor

• Find Anthone Chapin in Halls of Honor
• Give him Sullied Gold Filigree (52963) dropped to receive Purified Gold Filigree (52953)

Step 9 - Castle Mistmoore

• Go to Castle Mistmore to the Red Circle on the map.
• Make sure to click the wooden plank elevator on the ceiling of the tower to get to the upper chamber.
• Once up top you'll see a bag on a table. Click it to loot Taste of Enticement (52964)

Step 10 - Tower of Frozen Shadow

• Make sure you have a spell that is high enough to charm a level 63 NPC.
• Get to the 7th floor of Tower of Frozen Shadow. You can either key yourself or have someone click you up.
• Find Advisor Svartmane in Tower of Frozen Shadow
• Charm him and give him Taste of Enticement (52964) to receive 1st Piece of the Staff (54289)

Step 11 - Plane of Justice

• Find the yrendan scarab in The Plane of Justice kill and loot 2nd Piece of the Staff (54310) (rare spawn)

Step 12 - Vxed

• Find Apprentice Udranda in Barindu, Hanging Gardens and say "vxed" to start a Vxed Expedition
• Any named inside the instance can drop 3rd Piece of the Staff (54299) dropped

While here you can also kill "a mountain pooka" type mobs and loot Mountain Pooka Meat. It is used for the Enchanter 2.0 Epic

Step 13 - Bloodfields

• Find War Caller Kaavi in The Bloodfields (roughly 1.5 day respawn)
• Kill all six Sentry of Kaavi in The Bloodfields which spawns 4 Guardian of Kaavi in The Bloodfields and makes Kaavi targetable
• Kill Kaavi and loot 4th Piece of the Staff (54284)
• The event resets 20 minutes after a sentry dies or if Kaavi loses aggro

Step 14 - Siren's Grotto

• Find Faleniel of Darkwater in Sirens Grotto kill and loot Ornate Staff Topper (52961)
• Bring a raid force - high resists - cleric npcs around might heal her - difficult encounter - perma rooted
• Casts Ice Rain (PBAE, 1000DD, Cold Based)
• Casts Drowning Panic (PBAE, -15% Haste, Small DoT, Disease Based)
• Two hour respawn
• Must be past step 6 to loot - spawns chest

Step 15 - Plane of Innovation

• Find a greasy clockwork in Plane of Innovation kill and loot Glimmering Oil (52942)
• Casts Barrage of Debris (Targeted AE, 300 DD, Unresistable)
• Casts Blinding Smog (Targeted AE, Shadowstep)
• Casts Tetanic Blade (Single Target, 18 second stun + small DD, Posion Based)
• Two hour respawn
• Must be past step 6 to loot - spawns chest

Step 16 - Purified Mana

• Create a Vial of Purified Mana (10254) with the level 45 Enc spell: Purify Mana
• 4x Ruby – Bought (Audri Deepfacet, Northern Trader Building, PoK | Loc: +400, +760)
• 1x Poison Vial – Bought (Loran Thu`Leth, Western Trader Building, PoK | Loc: -115, +1400)

Step 17 - Essence

• Loot Essence of Sunlight (22527) dropped
• Drops off sand giants in South Ro or chromodracs in Skyfire

Step 18 - Forage

• Forage Glow Lichen (14925. Glow Lichen) in Nektulos Forest
• This is food, don't eat me!

Step 19 - Abysmal Sea

• Go to Abysmal Sea and loot the ground spawn Abysmal Moonwater (54298)

Step 20 - Brewing

• Brewing: No minimum brewing skill required for any of the combines in Step 21. Minimum skill of 156 gives a 95% chance of success for the Dragon Egg Oil, which has a trivial of 150.

Step 21 - Sub Combines

• Craft Prismatic Dye (65472) (Brewing, Trivial 54, Brew Barrel)
• 1x Glaze Laquer – Bought from Cadale Brohat in Gulf of Gunthak (other vendors also sell this, but only Cadale sells the Prism Shard, so buy both items from her)
• 1x Prism Shard – Bought from Cadale Brohat in Gulf of Gunthak

• Craft Dragon Egg Oil (9664) (Brewing, Trivial 150, Brew Barrel)
• 1x Water Flask - Bought (Perago Crotal, Near the PoK Brewing Barrel in the Eastern Trade Building)
• 1x Dragon Egg (Forage in Western Wastes - Tradable)

Step 22 - Glowing Concoction

• Craft Glowing Concoction (52943) (brewing trivial 116)
• Components: Vial of Purified Mana (10254) + Glow Lichen (14925) + Essence of Sunlight (22527) dropped + Abysmal Moonwater (54298)

Step 23 - Incandescent Oil

• Craft Incandescent Oil (57924) (brewing trival 116)
• Components: Dragon Egg Oil (9664) + Glimmering Oil (52942) + Glowing Concoction (52943) + Prismatic Dye (65472)

Step 24 - Mischief

• Find All-Seeing Eye in Plane of Mischief kill and loot All-Seeing Eye (54293) (2 hour respawn)
• Two hour respawn
• Must be past step 6 to loot - spawns chest

• Say "chest" to receive Ornate Staff Chest (52960)
• Craft Latched Ornate Chest (52966) in Ornate Staff Chest (52960)
• Components: 1st Piece of the Staff (54289) + 2nd Piece of the Staff (54310) + 3rd Piece of the Staff (54299) dropped + 4th Piece of the Staff (54284) + Ornate Staff Topper (52961) + All-Seeing Eye (54293) + Incandescent Oil (57924) + Purified Gold Filigree (52953)
