• Step 4 - Loot Volatile Vampyre Blood from a Coterie insatiate in Tenebrous Mountains
• Step 6 - Buy items from merchants on Faydwer
• Step 7 - Loot Harnessing Stone from Miriku the Chaotic in Kael
• Step 10 - Loot Mountain Pooka Meat from a mountain pooka in Vxed
• Step 17 - Loot Globe of Discordant Energy in Anguish

Step 1 - Burning Woods

• Find a sarnak imitator in The Burning Wood
• Hail and say "purifying" and "dwindling races" to receive a character flag (required first step)

Step 2 - Riwwi

• Loot Heart of a Twisted Stoneservant (54239) dropped

Step 3 - Wakening Lands

• Find Alaurin in The Wakening Lands
• Hail, say "crystal" and "deal" (optional)
• Give Heart of a Twisted Stoneservant (54239) dropped to spawn a luminescent geonid in The Wakening Lands in the caves
• Kill the geonid to loot Luminescent Crystal (52949)
• Return to Alaurin and give the crystal to receive a character flag and Purifying Crystal Fragment (52955)

Step 4 - Tenebrous Mountains

• Kill a Coterie insatiate in The Tenebrous Mountains - two hour respawn
  • Casts 2689 Drain Blood (Single Target Lifetap)
  • Casts 2727 Vampyre Invisibility (Self Invisibility Buff)
• Loot Volatile Vampyre Blood (52965)

Step 5 - Western Wastes

• Find Vohnkare in Western Wastelands
• Hail and say "crystal" (optional)
• Give Volatile Vampyre Blood (52965) to receive a character flag and Purifying Crystal Fragment (52956)

Step 6 - Vendor Items

Buy the following four items from NPC vendors across Faydwer (all tradeable)

• Gnomish Candy (52944) merchant from Clockwork Merchant in Ak'Anon (there are four Clockwork Merchant NPCs inside the building, the one needed is outside the building as shown on the map)

• Koada`Dal Silk (52948) from Merchant Tyslin in Northern Felwithe or Merchant Tyslin in Southern Felwithe

• Feir`Dal Champagne (52940) merchant from Innkeep Anisyla in Greater Faydark or a few others

• Dwarven Steel (57921) merchant from Gretta Mottle in South Kaladim

Step 7 - Kael Drakkel

• Kill Miriku the Chaotic in Kael Drakkel and loot Harnessing Stone (52946)

Step 8 - Lesser Faydark

• Find a brownie noble in Lesser Faydark
• Hail and say "token" and "items" (optional)
• Give the noble Gnomish Candy (52944) merchant, Koada`Dal Silk (52948), Feir`Dal Champagne (52940) merchant, Dwarven Steel (57921) merchant to receive a character flag
• Give the noble Harnessing Stone (52946) to receive a character flag and Purifying Crystal Fragment (52957)

Step 9 - Greater Faydark

• Find Feyana Lightwing in Greater Faydark
• Note that Feyana is on Fairie faction and may aggro. Having only 231 hp, a riposte or damage shield will easily kill her, so approach with caution or you'll have to wait for the 10 minute respawn. Can cast an illusion to interact without aggro.
• Hail her and say "crystal" (optional)
• Say "small favor" to receive a character flag (required step)

Step 10 - Vxed/Tipt

• Start a Vxed or Tipt expedition from Apprentice Udranda in Barindu, Hanging Gardens
• Kill mountain pookas and loot Mountain Pooka Meat (54240) dropped

Step 11 - Jaggedpine Forest

• Find Chef Brargus in The Jaggedpine Forest
• Give Chef Mountain Pooka Meat (54240) dropped to receive a character flag and spawn Firwyn in The Jaggedpine Forest (despawns in 20 minutes - must use another meat to spawn another)
• Kill Firwyn and loot Dryad Necklace (57917)
  • Casts 5722 Shackleroot (Single target DD And Root)
  • Casts 6115 Decaying Foliage (AE DD/tick, disease)

Step 12 - Greater Faydark

• Return to Feyana Lightwing in Greater Faydark
• Give Dryad Necklace (57917) to receive a character flag and Purifying Crystal Fragment (52958)

Step 13 - Combines

• Combine the four Purifying Crystal Fragment in Planar Jeweler's Kit (17764) merchant to create Purifying Crystal (52954) (no fail, no min skill)

• Combine Purifying Crystal and Oculus of Persuasion (52952) merchant Epic 1.5 to receive a character flag and Epic 1.5 returned (Remove augments first)

Step 14 - Wall of Slaughter

• Kill Cipheron in Wall of Slaughter and loot Tattered Incantation (57919) dropped
  • Casts 5604 Crushing Blow (Single DD)
  • Casts 5730 Aftershock (Hatelist DD and Feign Death)

Step 15 - Nobles' Causeway

• Kill Withering Murkglider in Nobles' Causeway and loot Noxious Secretion (52951)
  • Casts 5692 Withering Heat (Single DD and decrease endurance)
  • Spawns waves of a parasitic murkglider in Nobles' Causeway every 20% hp - 15 total - Casts 2321 Energy Burst on death (PBAE 4k DD, 87 range)
  • Locks hp at 10% until all parasitics are dead

Step 16 - Nedaria's Landing

• Find Priestess Rakhu in Nedaria's Landing
• Hail (optional)
• Give her Noxious Secretion (52951) and Tattered Incantation (57919) dropped to receive a character flag and Channeling Crystal (57920) (container)

Step 17 - Anguish

• Raid Anguish, the Fallen Palace and obtain a Globe of Discordant Energy (47100) dropped
• Drops from the following events:
  • Keldovan the Harrier/Jelvan (only one of the two based on who you kill last)
  • Warden Hanvar/Ture (only one of the two based on who you kill last)
  • Arch Magus Vangl
  • Overlord Mata Muram

Step 18 - Combine

• Combine Oculus of Persuasion (52952) merchant (epic 1.5) and Globe of Discordant Energy (47100) dropped in Channeling Crystal (57920) to receive your epic 2.0 Staff of Eternal Eloquence (52962)
