Magician 2.0 Epic

Focus of Primal Elements (19839)

To begin this quest you must have completed the Magician 1.5 Epic quest.

Pre-Farmable Steps

• Step 2 - Loot 2x Pyrilen Essence and 2x Gelidran Essence from Fire and Ice mobs in Riftseekers' Sanctum
• Step 12 - Loot Globe of Discordant Energy from Anguish

Step 1 - Dranik's Scar

• Find Iilivina in Dranik's Scar
• Give her your epic 1.5 Staff of Elemental Essence (19092) merchant to receive a character flag and your 1.5 returned (without augs, remove them first - required first step)
• Continue conversation with "bantil" and "power" (optional)

Step 2 - Riftseekers' Sanctum

• Loot two Pyrilen Essence (19093) dropped from Fire type mobs
• Loot two Gelidran Essence (19099) dropped from Ice type mobs

Step 3 - Darnik's Scar

• Return to Iilivina in Dranik's Scar
• Give her two Pyrilen Essence (19093) dropped and two Gelidran Essence (19099) dropped to receive Pouch of Powdered Riftseeker Essence (19149) and Note from Iilivina (19438)

Step 4 - Plane of Knowledge

• Return to Bantil Io`Tuv in Plane of Knowledge in the library
• Give him Pouch of Powdered Riftseeker Essence (19149) and Note from Iilivina (19438) to receive a character flag and the pouch returned

Step 5 - Twilight Sea

• Find Vornol Transon in The Twilight Sea at the top of the tower
• Give him Pouch of Powdered Riftseeker Essence (19149) to receive a character flag

Step 6 - Dranik's Scar

• Return to Iilivina in Dranik's Scar
• Hail to receive a character flag
• Say "primal" for information on where to find the four elementals (optional)

Step 7 - Ferubi

• Go to Ferubi with a group and head to the red circle on map
• When entering the area Body Elemental in Ferubi, Forgotten Temple of Taelosia will spawn and aggro (2 hour cooldown "try again later")
  • Casts 1235 Visions of Pain (PBAE -100% Spell Haste, -500 Attack, -250 Stats, -1000hp/tick, Curse)
  • Casts 5723 Searing Pain (PBAE -50% haste, -200atk, -200hp/tick, curse)
• Kill the elemental and loot Element of Body (19447)

Step 8 - Dreadlands

• Go to Dreadlands with a raid. The Chaos Elemental spawn at the red circle on map, trigger point is closer to the small temple just northwest of the red circle.
• When entering the area Chaos Elemental in Dreadlands will spawn and aggro (2 hour cooldown "try again later")
  • Casts 4723 Chaos Affliction (PBAE, -50% Spell Haste, 200hp/tick, -200 Attack, Prismatic Based, Curse Cure)
  • Casts 3966 Epidemic (Single Target Charm, lasts 3 ticks, -1000 Magic Resists)
• Kill the elemental and loot Element of Chaos (19444)

Step 9 - Crypt of Decay

• Go to Crypt of Decay with a group and head to the red circle on map
• When entering the area Spirit Elemental in Ruins of Ixanvom will spawn and aggro (2 hour cooldown "try again later")
  • Casts 891 Spiritual Possession (Random Single Target Charm and HP/Attack/AC Buff)
  • Kill the elemental and loot Element of Spirit (19544)

Step 10 - Halls of Honor

• Go to Halls of Honor (A) with a raid and head to the red circle on map
• When entering the area Order Elemental in Halls of Honor will spawn and aggro (2 hour cooldown "try again later")
  • Casts 1109 Justice (Single Target, 800 DD, Unresistable)

Step 11 - Dranik's Scar

• Return to Iilivina in Dranik's Scar
• Give Iilivina the four Elements from previous steps to receive a character flag

Step 12 - Anguish

• Raid Anguish, the Fallen Palace and obtain a Globe of Discordant Energy (47100) dropped
• Drops from the following events:
  • Keldovan the Harrier/Jelvan (only one of the two based on who you kill last)
  • Warden Hanvar/Ture (only one of the two based on who you kill last)
  • Arch Magus Vangl
  • Overlord Mata Muram

Step 13 - Plane of Knowledge

• Return to Bantil Io`Tuv in Plane of Knowledge in the library
• Give him Globe of Discordant Energy (47100) dropped and your epic 1.5 Staff of Elemental Essence (19092) merchant to receive your epic 2.0 Focus of Primal Elements (19839)
