Monk 1.5 Epic

• Fistwraps of Celestial Discipline (61025)
• You must have completed the Monk 1.0 Epic to begin this quest. The 1.0 bypass aka 1.5 prequest is not available on EQTitan server.
• If you have completed Monk Epic 1.5 and lost or deleted the fistwraps, hail Tomekeeper Danl in Erudin or Vortix in The Plane of Tranquility to replace it

• Step 1 - Collect Muramite Sand

Step 1 Harbinger's Spire

1. Go to Harbinger's Spire and kill Dragorn type trash mobs
2. Loot Muramite Sand (48122) dropped - no trade
   • 3% drop rate from dragorn curates, laborers, and slaves

Step 2 Lake Rathetear

1. Find a fallen student in Lake Rathetear
   • 2075 x, 1350 y : 20 min respawn
   • Optional: hail
2. Say "cursed dreams" to receive a character flag
   • Optional: "vision"
3. Give Muramite Sand (48122) dropped to receive a character flag
   • Optional: "time", "power of the Immortals"

Step 3 Erudin Library

1. Find Tomekeeper Danl in Erudin
2. Say "power of the Immortals" to receive a character flag

Step 4 Shadow Haven

1. Optional: Find Researcher Relreom in Shadow Haven
   • Optional: hail, "important book", "pages"

Step 5 Ground Spawns

Collect the following four parchment section ground spawns:

1. Section of Parchment (48104) - gunthak
   • -320 x, -740 y : inside a crashed boat
2. Section of Parchment (48105) - akheva
   • -1420 x, 710 y : in a hallway
3. Section of Parchment (48106) - charsis (howling stones)
   • -20 x, 100 y - in the pit under zone in
4. Section of Parchment (48107) - hole
   • 100 x, 60 y : in the city area

Step 6 Shadow Haven

1. Find Researcher Relreom in Shadow Haven
2. Give Relreom the four sections of parchment from Step 5 to receive Danl's Missing Book (48132)

Step 7 Erudin

1. Return to Tomekeeper Danl in Erudin
2. Give Danl Danl's Missing Book (48132) to receive a character flag
   • Optional: "disciple", "vortix", "book"

Step 8 Lake Rathetear

1. Return to a fallen student in Lake Rathetear
   • Optional: "vortix"
2. Say "diary" to receive a character flag

Step 9 Two Fights

1. Find Wygrish in Sirens Grotto
   • Bring a raid
   • On the shore just above the main waterfall
   • Hail Wygrish and he will attack
2. Kill Wygrish and loot 1/2 of Kaiaren's Diary (48109) dropped
   • Max hit 1600
   • Must be on this step to loot diary
   • Chance to spawn chest with extra loot

3. Find Quigli in Dulak's Harbor
   • Bring a raid
   • Optional: hail, "right price"
   • Say "defeat" and he will attack
4. Kill Quigli and loot 1/2 of Kaiaren's Diary (48110) dropped
   • Spawns one a scallywag of Quigli in Dulak's Harbor and three a lackey of Quigli in Dulak's Harbor
   • Must be on this step to loot diary

Step 10 Plane of Tranquility

1. Find Vortix in The Plane of Tranquility
2. Give Vortix the two halves of the diary from Step 9 to receive a character flag
   • Optional: "searching", "techniques", "", "find", "sun", "moon", "order"

Step 11 Plane of Justice Trials

1. Complete all six trials and loot the Mark from each trial

   • Mark of Execution (31842) dropped
   • Mark of Flame (31796) dropped
   • Mark of Lashing (31960) dropped

   • Mark of Torture (31844) dropped
2. Say "I seek knowledge" to The Tribunal to receive a character flag and The Mark of Justice (31599)

Step 12 Seventh Hammer

1. Enter The Seventh Hammer area
   • Bring a raid of around 3 groups
   • With The Mark of Justice (31599) on cursor, click a blue portal (press U) behind The Tribunal in the trial room
   • One mark will port an entire group (not the entire raid, only one group of the raid)
   • If the regular Seventh Hammer is not spawned, a Monk on this step can say "judgement" to spawn it (five hour respawn for this)

2. Kill The Seventh Hammer and loot Symbol of Order (48113) dropped
   • Monk must be on this step of epic to loot
   • Chance to spawn chest with extra loot
   • Casts Tremor of Judgment (1107) pbae 800 dd, magic -300
   • Casts Verdict of Eternity (1108) pbae 200 hp/tick, -100 mana/tick - curse counter 9 unresistable

Step 13 Scarlet Desert

1. Go to Scarlet Desert
   • Bring a raid
   • Near -1000 x, 700 y

2. Kill all of the following mobs:
   • a sun revenant in The Scarlet Desert
   • a sun reaver in The Scarlet Desert
   • Knight of the Dread Sun in The Scarlet Desert
   • Sun Revenant Chancellor in The Scarlet Desert

3. When all are dead, Disciple of Sun in The Scarlet Desert will spawn
   • Optional: hail
   • Say "challenge" and the disciple will attack the Monk

4. Kill Disciple of Sun in The Scarlet Desert and loot Symbol of Sun (48112) dropped
   • Monk must be on step to loot
   • Chance to spawn chest with extra loot
   • 5.5 hour respawn on death

Step 14 Western Wastes

1. Go to Western Wastes near 2800 x, 3300 y : a faint voice in Western Wastelands
   • When Monk on this step gets close to the area there will be a message about a faint voice in your mind
   • Say "prove" with nothing targeted to spawn Disciple of Moon in Western Wastelands
   • 5.5 hour respawn on disciple

2. Kill Disciple of Moon in Western Wastelands and loot Symbol of Moon (48111) dropped
   • Must be on step to loot
   • Chance to spawn chest with extra loot

Step 15 Plane of Tranquility

1. Return to Vortix in The Plane of Tranquility
2. Hail to receive Letter to Stremstin (48128)

Step 16 Bazaar

1. Find Eryke Stremstin in The Bazaar
2. Give Eryke Letter to Stremstin (48128) to receive a character flag
   • Optional: "price"
3. Give Eryke 1000 plat to receive Celestial Thread (48123)
   • Optional: "polished"

Step 17 Pottery

1. Skill up Pottery to 140 to 170 range

   • Highest trivial involved is 138
   • Failures result in extra Divine Crystalline Glaze is needed - which may be worth risking rather than leveling skill all the way

2. Create at least three Divine Crystalline Glaze (16578)
   • Two more are also needed for Monk Epic 2.0
   • May need more than three because of failed combines

     • 1 x Water Flask (13006) dropped merchant
     • 1 x White Lead (16558) - mixing bowl or mortar and pestle
       • 1 x Limestone (16844) merchant - Viliani I`Xvoyt in The Abysmal Sea
       • 1 x Lead Sulphide (16845) merchant - Viliani I`Xvoyt in The Abysmal Sea
     • 1 x Permafrost Crystals (22121) dropped - mostly drops from goblins in Permafrost
     • 1 x Iron Oxide (22124) dropped - good drop rate from elementals in Twilight Sea

3. In a Kiln, combine Divine Crystalline Glaze (16578) with each of the three looted symbols to polish them
   • These combines can fail and have a trivial of 138
   • The Symbols are returned on failure, the glaze is not
   • Polished Symbol of Sun (48124) : ​recipe
   • Polished Symbol of Moon (48125) : ​recipe
   • Polished Symbol of Order (48126) : ​recipe

Step 18 Tailoring Skill

1. Skill up Tailoring to 66 to 180 range

   • Highest trivial involved is 176
   • 66 skill is easy with Woven Mandrake ​recipe
   • 108 skill with Crystalline Silk Mask ​recipe
   • 176 skill is not required to do the combine, but lower skill may result in some failures
   • Failures result in 1000 platinum lost (to replace the Celestial Thread) which may be cheaper and easier than skilling all the way

Step 19 Tailoring Combine

1. Create Initiate's Sash of the Celestial Order (48127) in a sewing kit
   • Recipe: ​recipe
     • Polished Symbol of Order (48126)
     • Polished Symbol of Moon (48125)
     • Polished Symbol of Sun (48124)
     • Celestial Thread (48123)
     • Belt Pattern (13807) merchant - ​vendors
   • The three Polished Symbols are returned on failure
   • Failing destroys the Celestial Thread and much be re-obtained with 1000 plat in Bazaar (Step 16)
   • At 66 skill it can take 10-15 attempts to succeed the combine

Step 20 Plane of Tranquility

1. Return to Vortix in The Plane of Tranquility
2. Give Vortix Initiate's Sash of the Celestial Order (48127) to receive a character flag and returns the sash
   • Optional: "journey", "being", "place"

Step 21

Go to The Bloodfields with a small raid and locate Kragsmash.

"Hail" him

say "insist"

He will attack. Hits for 1,000+. Some adds spawn during the fight but despawn when he dies. Kill him and loot Kaiaren's Mind.

Step 22

Go to Harbringer's Spire with small raid and locate Windrush. He's up the spiral staircase in one of the side rooms.

Hits 1700+

AE Rampages

Kill him and loot Kaiaren's Body.

Go to The Bloodfields with a raid and locate The Keeper. He is at the Druid/Wizard port in spot on the bridge in the middle of the zone.

"Hail" him

Say "die". He will attack.
