To begin this quest you must have completed the Paladin 1.5 Epic quest.

Step 1 - Halls of Honor

• Find Irak Altil in Halls of Honor
• Say "master" to receive a character flag (required first step)

Step 2 - Felwithe

• Find Galrun Starforge in Northern Felwithe
• Hail and follow conversation (optional)
• Say "explained" to receive a character flag and Galrun's bag (69975) (container)

Step 3 - Greater Faydark

• Find Guard Highmoon in Greater Faydark
• Hail to receive a character flag

Step 4 - Lesser Faydark

• Go to Lesser Faydark and loot the ground item Teir`Dal Blood Pact (69980) dropped (must be on step to pick up)

Step 5 - Butcherblock Mountains

• Find Guard Mandin in Butcherblock Mountains
• Hail to receive a character flag
• Find Signus Boran in Butcherblock Mountains (2 hour respawn)
• At night (6pm to 6am) if a Paladin is in the zone on this step she will be level 70
• Kill the level 70 version of Signus to spawn a vampire Signus Boran in Butcherblock Mountains
• Kill and loot Signus' Vampire Fangs (69978)

Step 6 - Greater Faydark

• Find Guard Fayfear in Greater Faydark
• Hail him to receive a character flag

Step 7 - Crushbone

• Go to Crushbone
• Kill all orcs in the castle and nearby outside on the island
• When all orcs in that area are dead Orc Messenger in Crushbone will spawn in a moment (2 hour cooldown)
• Kill the messenger and loot Orcish Battle Plans (69977)

Step 8 - Mana Battery

• Obtain one Mana Battery - Class Six (9181) dropped merchant (Nelin Signus in plane of knowlede)

Step 9 - Steamfont Mountains

• Find Bigilam Wantilans in Steamfont Mountains
• Hail him (optional)
• Give him Mana Battery - Class Six (9181) dropped merchant to receive a character flag and Slain Vampire's Heart (69979)

Step 10 - Combine

• Combine the following in Galrun's bag (69975) (container) to create Galrun's bag (69976)
  • Orcish Battle Plans (69977)
  • Signus' Vampire Fangs (69978)
  • Slain Vampire's Heart (69979)
  • Teir`Dal Blood Pact (69980) dropped

Step 11 - North Felwithe

• Return to Galrun Starforge in Northern Felwithe
• Give him Galrun's bag (69976) to receive a character flag

Step 12 - LDoN Raid

• Say "ready to fight valdoon" to Galrun Starforge in Northern Felwithe (or "interested" to Kroggl in Butcherblock Mountains) to start the LDoN Raid expedition "Mistmoore Catacombs: Struggles in the Progeny"
• Complete the expedition (​guide)
• If a Paladin on this step is alive and on hate list when Valdoon dies he will drop his heart - loot Valdoon Kel`Novar's Heart (69981)
• Multiple hearts will drop if more than one Paladin is on step and all can loot

Step 13 - North Felwithe

• Return to Galrun Starforge in Northern Felwithe
• Give him Valdoon Kel`Novar's Heart (69981) to receive a character flag and Token of Cleansing (69956)

Step 14 - Natimbi

• Find Kemik Arulon in Natimbi, The Broken Shores
• Hail him to receive a character flag

Step 15 - North Qeynos

• Find Camlend Serbold in North Qeynos
• Hail him and follow conversation (optional)
• Say "special gems" to receive a character flag and Unfilled Set of Prayer Beads (69968)

Step 16 - North Qeynos

• Find Ziska Ironforge in North Qeynos
• Give her 500 platinum to receive a character flag and Qeynos Prayer Bead (69960)

Step 17 - North Freeport

• Find Arem Ulosia in North Freeport
• Hail, say "camlend", "yes", "special gems" (optional)
• Say "looking for others" to receive a character flag
• Go to the Temple of Marr in North Freeport and find a ground spawn near Plur Etinu in North Freeport (slightly different than screenshot)

Step 18 - North Felwithe

• Find General Jyleel in Northern Felwithe
• Say "special gem" (optional)
• Give him 1000 platinum to receive a character flag and Felwithe Prayer Bead (69962)
• Give him 500 platinum to receive a character flag (required)

Step 19 - Brewing

• Craft Bottle of Double Brewed Double Dry Stout (51157) in a Brew Barrel (226 trivial, no required min) with the following items:
  • Barley (16590) merchant (Bargol Halith in plane of knowledge)
  • Bottle (16598) merchant (Bargol Halith in plane of knowledge)
  • Cork (16851) merchant (Tabben Bromal in plane of knowledge)
  • Hops (16591) merchant (Bargol Halith in plane of knowledge)
  • Yeast (16596) merchant (Bargol Halith in plane of knowledge)
  • Sand Verbena (65582) dropped (Foraged or dropped from North Ro LDON missions)
  • Purified Water (12607) (Crafted - brewing - careful not to drink)

Step 20 - North Kaladim

• Find Datur Nightseer in North Kaladim
• Say "prayer bead" and "yes" (optional)
• Give him Bottle of Double Brewed Double Dry Stout (51157) to receive a character flag and Kaladim Prayer Bead (69963)

Step 21 - Magician

• Have a magician cast level 53 Spell: Quiver of Mar to summon an Quiver of Marr (17307) (temporary item)

Step 22 - Rathe Mountains

• Find Shin Master Grubbus in Rathe Mountains
• Say "prayer beads" and "will help" (optional)
• Give him Quiver of Marr (17307) to receive a character flag and Gukta Prayer Bead (69964)

Step 23 - Vendor

• Obtain two Iron Ration (13005) dropped merchant and two Mead (13008) dropped merchant (Vuli Ironstove in Plane of Knowledge). Make sure not to eat them on the way to Erudin for the turn-in!

Step 24 - Erudin

• Find Reklon Gnallen in Erudin
• Give him two Iron Ration (13005) dropped merchant and two Mead (13008) dropped merchant to receive a character flag and Erudin Prayer Bead (69965)

Step 25 - Ak'Anon

• Find Lewis Reldnok in Ak'Anon
• Hail and say "blessed gem" then /sit near him and after a moment you will receive a character flag and Ak`anon Prayer Bead (69966)

Step 26 - Rivervale

• Find Kaya Cloudfoot in Rivervale
• Hail, say "yes" and follow conversation (optional)
• Say "different" to receive Note from Kaya (69970)
• Find Deputy Cheel in Rivervale
• Give Cheel the note to receive a character flag and Rivervale Prayer Bead (69967)

Step 27 - Combine

• Combine the following in Unfilled Set of Prayer Beads (69968) to create Set of Prayer Beads (69969)
  • Rivervale Prayer Bead (69967)
  • Ak`anon Prayer Bead (69966)
  • Erudin Prayer Bead (69965)
  • Gukta Prayer Bead (69964)
  • Kaladim Prayer Bead (69963)

Step 28 - Natimbi

• Return to Kemik Arulon in Natimbi, The Broken Shores
• Give him Unfilled Set of Prayer Beads (69968) to receive a character flag and prayer beads returned (required step)

Step 29 - Dranik's Scar

• Find Grand Historian Gersh in Dranik's Scar
• Request a Murkglider Hive expedition by hailing and saying "caves" and "murkglider hive"

• Zone into dranikhollowsc in the cave to the northest (not marked on compass)
• When a Paladin on proper step enters the zone Anetal in Dranik's Hollows and Muridae the Plagued in Dranik's Hollows will spawn near the end of the zone
• Kill the plagued rat
  • Casts 3770 Venomed Mist (PBAE 50mana/tick 500hp/tick, poison)
  • Casts 3771 Plagued Earth (PBAE 50mana/tick 500hp/tick, disease)
  • Casts 3851 Cursed Visions II (PBAE decrease spell haste and attack speed)
• Then give Anetal Unfilled Set of Prayer Beads (69968) to receive a character flag

Step 30 - Natimbi

• Return to Kemik Arulon in Natimbi, The Broken Shores
• Hail to receive a character flag and Token of Compassion (69953)

Step 31 - Oasis

• Find Instructor Maerceci in Southern Desert of Ro at South Ro LDon camp
• Hail and say "happened" to receive a character flag

• Find Keelee Rayin in Oasis of Marr in Oasis northwest orc camp
• Make sure no one else is nearby and hail her to start an event
• Any players near the camp are moved to the water - the paladin must do this part solo
• Four waves of four an orc warrior in Oasis of Marr spawn and attack (they leash)
• After all orcs are killed Keelee and Remel will move to the southeast orc camp

• With a raid kill an orc warrior in Oasis of Marr
  • Casts 3763 Black Plague (PBAE 80% snare 700hp/tick, disease)
  • Casts 3770 Venomed Mist (PBAE 500hp/tick 50mana/tick, poison)
• Hail Keelee to receive Keelee's Brooch (69982)
• Return to Instructor Maerceci in Southern Desert of Ro and give him the brooch to receive a character flag and Token of Chivalry (69954)

Step 32 - Nedaria's Landing

• Find Duram Firechaser in Nedaria's Landing
• Hail and say "quest of truth" and "deep trouble" to receive a character flag (required step)

Step 33 - Muramite Proving Grounds

• Find Pashia Clouddancer in Muramite Provinggrounds with a group

• Clear the room near her of any spawns
• Say "Duram wants you to come home"
• This spawns Diad the Devourer in Muramite Provinggrounds and aggros on the paladin
• Kill Diad and loot Pashia's Sword (69974)

• Give the sword to Pashia and then say "follow"
• Head to the Wall of Slaughter zone line
• Pashia will depop after 20 minutes, say "follow" again to reset this timer
• When Pashia gets near the zone line she will emote
• Say "note" to receive a character flag and Note from Pashia (69973)

Step 34 - Nedaria's Landing

• Return to Duram Firechaser in Nedaria's Landing
• Give him Note from Pashia (69973) to receive a character flag and Token of Heroism (69955)

Step 35 - Anguish

• Raid Anguish, the Fallen Palace and obtain a Globe of Discordant Energy (47100) dropped
• Drops from the following events:
  • Keldovan the Harrier/Jelvan (only one of the two based on who you kill last)
  • Warden Hanvar/Ture (only one of the two based on who you kill last)
  • Arch Magus Vangl
  • Overlord Mata Muram

Step 36

TODO clean up this step

This part will require two people so grab a friend and head to Plane of Sky. Make sure your friend has 500pp. You will also need to be keyed for Island 4; only you need to be keyed, your friend doesn’t. Have your friend go to the Quest Room. They can buy Efreeti’s Key from Key Master on Island 1 to access it. Meanwhile you should head to Island 4. Island 4 (Pegasus Island) is the island with a big Windmill in the middle. Stay inside the Windmill.

Have your friend say “I wish to be tested by Dirkog” to Dason Goldblade in the Quest Room. Dason Goldblade will give your friend Walk with Evil. Give Walk with Evil back to Dason Goldblade to spawn Dirkog Steelhand. Give Dirkog Steelhand 500pp. Doing so will spawn Inte Akera in the Windmill on Island 4. Inte Akera only stays up for a few minutes which is why you need someone else to spawn him from the Quest Room.

Give Inte Akera your Globe of Discordant Energy.

You'll receive:

Scabbard of the Righteous, Token of Conviction, Token of Loyalty.

Step 37 - Final Combine

• Combine the following items in Scabbard of the Righteous (69959) to receive your epic 2.0 Nightbane, Sword of the Valiant (48147)
  • Token of Loyalty (69958)
  • Token of Conviction (69957)
  • Token of Cleansing (69956)
  • Token of Heroism (69955)
  • Token of Chivalry (69954)
  • Token of Compassion (69953)
  • Redemption (64031) merchant (1.5)
