Shaman 2.0 Epic

Blessed Spiritstaff of the Heyokah (57405)

To begin this quest you must have completed the Shaman 1.5 Epic quest.

Pre-lootable Steps

• Step 11 - Dragon Necropolis - Loot 2x Spirit-Touched Phased Spider Thorax from a phase spider
• Step 16 - Anguish - Loot Globe of Discordant Energy

Step 1 - North Freeport

• Find Elder Spirit of Enlightenment in North Freeport inside The Jade Tiger’s Den on the second floor.
• Say "carry on" to receive an emote and hidden character flag

Step 2 - Fungus Grove

• Find Lupot Nukla in Fungus Grove
• Say "taken by force" to receive an emote and hidden character flag

Step 3 - Kod'Taz

• Find Undari Perunea in Kod'Taz, Broken Trial Grounds with a group
• Hail Undari to spawn Ikaav Spiritstealer in Kod'Taz, Broken Trial Grounds nearby
• Kill the spiritstealer and loot Necklace of Perseverance (57401) dropped (must be on this step to loot)

Step 4 - Fungus Grove

• Return to Lupot Nukla in Fungus Grove
• Give Lupot Necklace of Perseverance (57401) dropped to receive an emote and hidden character flag (rest of the dialog is optional)

Step 5 - Plane of Storms

• Go to Plane of Storms and look for a tree in the northeast corner of the zone (+2050, -1350). When you target it it has no name.
• Get close to the tree and Darkened Chanting Woodspirit in Plane of Storms will spawn along with 5x a woodspirit vineguard in Plane of Storms. None of them see invis.
• Kill the trees and loot Piece of Moaning Timber (57403). This is doable with 2 groups.

Step 6 - Fungus Grove

• Return to Lupot Nukla in Fungus Grove
• Give Lupot Piece of Moaning Timber (57403) to receive Impervious Medicine Bag (57551)

Step 7 - North Freeport

• Return to Elder Spirit of Enlightenment in North Freeport from Step 1
• Give the spirit Impervious Medicine Bag (57551) to receive an emote and hidden character flag
• Say "discord" and "seek" to receive Pouch of Spirit Dust (57710) (6 slot container)

Step 8 - Noble's Causeway

• Find Kupiop Iku in Nobles' Causeway
• Say "ready" to spawn Murkglider School Leader in Nobles' Causeway - Murkglider School Leader in Nobles' Causeway must be killed before epic version can be spawned
• Kill the leader and loot Slight Trace of a Spirit (57800) dropped

Step 9 - Ruined City of Dranik

• Find Bloated Girplan in The Ruined City of Dranik (+120, -1800). He is a rare spawn in Red Circle room on the map. Kill PH's until he spawns. Approx 25 min respawn timer on PH's. It's easiest to have a few people to camp the PH's, and killing the Bloated Girplan might take up to a couple of groups in era.
• Kill the girplan and loot Reviving Potion of Might (57315) dropped
• Chance to spawn an Epic 2.0 chest with random loot
• Casts Disconcerting Presence (PBAE, 400/tick Mana Drain, Diseased Based)
• Has a lot of HP

Step 10 - Muramite Provinggrounds

• Find Stilled Lightning Warrior in Muramite Provinggrounds When you get close Lightning Warrior Spiritseeker in Muramite Provinggrounds and 2 adds will spawn. This boss casts a drunk effect. Kill him and it's adds. Two hour respawn.
• Kill and loot Glowing Trace of Might (57250)

Step 11 - Dragon Necropolis

• Go to Dragon Necropolis and kill phase spiders to loot TWO Spirit-Touched Phased Spider Thorax (57562). a phase spider spawns all over the zone. You'll see them as soon as you zone in. Seems to be a semi-common drop.

Step 12 - Combine

• Combine the recipe Glowing Spirit Charm of Might in Pouch of Spirit Dust (57710)
  • Glowing Trace of Might (57250)
  • Reviving Potion of Might (57315) dropped
  • Slight Trace of a Spirit (57800) dropped
  • Spirit-Touched Phased Spider Thorax (57562) x2 (unstacked)
• Recipe creates Glowing Spirit Charm of Might (57987)

Step 13 - North Freeport

• Return to Elder Spirit of Enlightenment in North Freeport
• Give the spirit Glowing Spirit Charm of Might (57987) to receive an emote and hidden character flag
• Say "spiritcaller" and "survive" (optional)

Step 14 - Wall of Slaughter

• Find Hudar Trittan in Wall of Slaughter with a medium to large raid
• Hail and follow conversation or say "fooled" to spawn Discordling Spiritcaller in Wall of Slaughter - two hour respawn
• Kill spiritcaller and loot Spiritcaller Beads (57404)
  • Hits 1800+
  • Casts Grip of Mental Reality (Targeted AE, -300 Mana Drain/tick, -50 Casting Skill, -500 Mana Pool, Cold Based)
  • Adds cast Deathly Chants (PBAE, -1500 Mana Pool and small HP DoT, Diseased Based, Curse Counter)
  • When each of the a spiritbound feran dies 3x adds spawn will spawn in its place. Kill them.
• Chance to spawn Epic 2.0 chest with random loot

Step 15 - North Freeport

• Return to Elder Spirit of Enlightenment in North Freeport
• Give the spirit Spiritcaller Beads (57404) to receive an emote and hidden character flag

If you already have Globe of Discordant Energy from Anguish make sure to turn it in AFTER you turn in your Spiritcaller Beads (aka move onto step 17). Do not hand them in at the same time. This is to be safe so you don't mess up your hidden flags.

Step 16 - Anguish

• Raid Anguish, the Fallen Palace and obtain a Globe of Discordant Energy (47100) dropped
• Drops from the following events:
  • Keldovan the Harrier/Jelvan (only one of the two based on who you kill last)
  • Warden Hanvar/Ture (only one of the two based on who you kill last)
  • Arch Magus Vangl
  • Overlord Mata Muram

Step 17 - North Freeport

• Return to Elder Spirit of Enlightenment in North Freeport
• Give the spirit Globe of Discordant Energy (47100) dropped to receive an emote and hidden character flag
• Say "prepared for the ceremony" to start a a dialogue script that takes several minutes - follow
• Wait for the spirit to say say "Come to me shaman and state to me that you are, indeed, a [faithful heyokah]."
• Say "faithful heyokah" to receive an emote and hidden character flag
• Give the spirit Crafted Talisman of Fates (57400) merchant (Epic 1.5) to receive your Epic 2.0 item Blessed Spiritstaff of the Heyokah (57405)
