Part 1 Red Scabbard

Red Scabbard (17859)

Step 1 A East Freeport

1. Find Kargek Redblade in East Freeport.
2. Say "what favor" to Kargek to receive Wax Sealed Note (20673).

Step 1 B Ferrott

1. Find Oknoggin Stonesmacker in The Feerrott
2. Give Oknoggin Wax Sealed Note (20673) to receive Tiny Lute (20674).

Step 1 C East Freeport

1. Go back to Kargek Redblade in East Freeport.
2. Give Kargek Tiny Lute (20674) to receive Redblade's Legacy (18083).

Step 1 D Permafrost

1. Head to Permafrost Keep
2. Kill a goblin wizard to loot Heart of Frost (10549) dropped. It is a fairly common drop.
3. While you're here, you can grab a Block of Permafrost (20665) dropped from the ice giant area. You'll need it later in the quest (See Part 2 - there are two options).

Step 1 E East Karana

1. Find Tenal Redblade in Eastern Plains of Karana. Tenal Redblade can be found on the far east side of the zone at the bottom of the gorge below the Highpass Hold zoneline.
2. Give Tenal Redblade's Legacy (18083) to receive Totem of the Freezing War (20680).

Step 1 F East Karana

1. Give Tenal Totem of the Freezing War (20680) and Heart of Frost (10549) dropped to receive Totem of Fiery War (20681).

Step 1 G Dragons

Next, collect 4 items from raid bosses or bazaar:

• Green Dragon Scales (11582) dropped
• Red Dragon Scales (11622) dropped
• Hand of the Maestro (20676) dropped from Hand of the Maestro in The Plane of Hate 24 hour respawn, 50% chance
• Spiroc Wingblade (20679) dropped from The Spiroc Lord in Plane of Air on Island 5, 4 hour respawn

Step 1 H East Karana

1. Head back to Tenal Redblade in Eastern Plains of Karana.
2. Give Tenal Green Dragon Scales (11582) dropped, Red Dragon Scales (11622) dropped, Totem of Fiery War (20681) to receive Mark of the Sword (20683).
3. Next give Tenal Mark of the Sword (20683), Hand of the Maestro (20676) dropped to receive Tenal's note to Kargek (20684).

Step 1 I

1. Find Kargek Redblade in East Freeport.
2. Give Kargek Spiroc Wingblade (20679) dropped and Tenal's note to Kargek (20684) to receive Red Scabbard (17859).

Part 2 Ancient Sword Blade

Ancient Sword Blade (20667)

Step 2 A Rebreather

1. Have a Tinkerer make you two Rebreather (16889) 175 Trivial. Check the ​Bazaar. Recipe: ​link

Step 2 B Keg

1. Collect Block of Permafrost (20665) dropped from Ice Giants in Permafrost.
2. Buy Keg of Vox Tail Ale (20664) merchant.

• Good Races: (Bought - Maula Fishcatcher - Commonlands | Loc: +510, +2390).
• Evil Races: (Bought - Mariz Ixtaz - Neriak | Loc: -163, -938)

Step 2 C Ancient Sword Blade

1. Find Denken Strongpick in Ocean of Tears.
2. Give Denken:

• Rebreather (16889) x2
• Block of Permafrost (20665) dropped
• Keg of Vox Tail Ale (20664) merchant

to receive Ancient Sword Blade (20667).

Part 3 Finely Crafted Dragon Head Hilt

Finely Crafted Dragon Head Hilt (20672)

Step 3 A Timorous

1. Go to Timorous Deep and pick up the ground spawn Severely Damaged Dragon Head Hilt (20669) next to the black king chess piece on the chessboard.

Step 3 B Patriarch

1. Go to Dreadlands and kill mountain giants until Eerie Spore Earring (86144) spawns.
2. Kill the patriarch and loot Giant Sized Monocle (20678) dropped.

Step 3 C Frontier Mountains

1. Find Mentrax Mountainbone in Frontier Mountains. Mentrax Mountainbone can be found in the back of the cave within the giant fort in the middle of the zone.
2. Give Mentrax Giant Sized Monocle (20678) dropped to receive Rejesiam Ore (20666).

Step 3 D Fear

1. Loot Ball of Everliving Golem (20677) dropped from Dread in Plane of Fear, Terror in Plane of Fear or Fright in Plane of Fear.

Step 3 E Hilt

1. Find Wenden Blackhammer in East Freeport.
2. Give Wenden:

• Severely Damaged Dragon Head Hilt (20669)
• Rejesiam Ore (20666)
• Ball of Everliving Golem (20677) dropped

to receive Finely Crafted Dragon Head Hilt (20672).

Part 4 Jeweled Dragon Head Hilt

Step 4 A Lake Rathetear

1. Go to Lake Rathetear and pick up the ground spawn Unjeweled Dragon Head Hilt (20668). You will see a greenish white flame. The Hilt is almost directly below it on the lake floor.

Step 4 B Gems

1. Collect the following gems. Sebilis has an increased drop rate for gems.

• Diamond (10037) dropped
• Black Sapphire (10036) dropped
• Jacinth (10053) dropped

Step 4 C Hilt

1. Return to Wenden Blackhammer in East Freeport.
2. Give Wenden:

• Diamond (10037) dropped
• Black Sapphire (10036) dropped
• Jacinth (10053) dropped
• Unjeweled Dragon Head Hilt (20668)

to receive Jeweled Dragon Head Hilt (20671).

Part 5 Ancient Blade

Ancient Blade (20670) dropped

Step 5 Queen

1. Kill Queen Velazul Di`zok in Chardok and loot Ancient Blade (20670) dropped.

Part 6 Final Turnin

1. Combine the following in Red Scabbard (17859) to create Jagged Blade of War (10908).

• Ancient Sword Blade (20667)
• Ancient Blade (20670) dropped
• Jeweled Dragon Head Hilt (20671)
• Finely Crafted Dragon Head Hilt (20672)

Jagged Blade of War (10908) can be combined in the Red Scabbard (17859) to create Blade of Tactics (10909) and Blade of Strategy (10910).
