Wizard 1.5 Epic Guide

Staff of Prismatic Power

You must have completed the Wizard 1.0 Epic to begin this quest. The 1.0 bypass aka 1.5 prequest is not available on EQTitan server.

Potentially Pre-farmable Steps

Not all are 100% confirmed pre-lootable, just something you may want to review before beginning the quest

Step 2 - Kill Girplan Guardian in Wall of Slaughter. Loot Fluxing Staff

Step 4 - Kill Hobgoblin Horrorfiend in Plane of Nightmare. Loot Fluxing Rune

Step 5 - Loot Ground spawn Fluxing Chunk of Ore in The Ruined City of Dranik

Step 7 - (maybe?) Kill Pure Flame Elemental in Caverns of Exile. Loot Wisp of Pure Flame.

Step 8 - Kill Mistress of the Darkwater in Siren's Grotto. Loot Shard of Pure Ice

Step 12 - Level Tailoring to 125

Step 13 - Make tailoring subcombines

Step 15 - Collect Prismatic Crystals and Cohesion Gem

Step 1

Go to Lavastorm Mountains and locate Talwyn Flamecaller (+2180, -1040).

"Hail" him

Say "agree"

Step 2

Go to Wall of Slaughter with a raid and locate Girplan Guardian (see map - he's up on the side of the wall). Kill him and loot Fluxing Staff.

• Hits 2200+

• Substantial HP

• Casts Curse of Misfortune (PBAE, Decrease melee damage by 50%, Magic Based)

• Casts Cloud of Attrition (NPC Hatelist, -50% Spell Haste, Chromatic Based)

• Casts Dissipation of Power (PBAE, 450 DoT Poison DoT)

Step 3

Go to Scarlet Desert with a raid and locate Elite Sun Revenant. You'll need to spawn him by going into the Pot at the top of the revenant mesa and saying "i have come for your gem". You'll see emote:

This will spawn Elite Sun Revenant at the bottom of the Mesa. He will path to the top. Kill it and loot

Fluxing Gem.

• Hits 1700+

• Casts Wizard damaging nukes

• Casts Greater Sand Curse of Knowledge (PBAE, -50% Spell haste, -1000/tick Mana DoT, Unresistable)

• Casts Greater Sand Curse of Life (PBAE, -1000 HP/Tick DoT, -500 attack, Prismatic Based)

• Casts Torment of Body (NPC Hatelist, -3000 DD, -300 HP/Tick, -25% Accuracy, -100 Casting Level, Prismatic Based)

Step 4

Go to Plane of Nightmare with a couple groups and locate Hobgoblin Horrorfiend. Kill it and loot Fluxing Rune.

• Hits 1100+

• Casts Flames of the Fiend (PBAE, 2500 DD, Chromatic Based)

• Casts other minor spells

Step 5

Go to The Ruined City of Dranik and loot ground spawn Fluxing Chunk of Ore (+1145, -350).

Step 6

Go to back Lavastorm Mountains and locate Talwyn Flamecaller (+2180, -1040).

1) Give him the following to receive Staff of Fluxing Power:

Fluxing Staff

Fluxing Gem

Fluxing Rune

Fluxing Chunk of Ore

2) Say "powerful item"

Step 7

Go to Cavern of Exile (SolusekC) with a group or two. Go to the Purple Circle on the map. Clear all the mobs on these two rooms. Shortly after a ring event will start. Two waves of mobs will spawn. Wave 1 is four mobs. Wave 2 is two mobs. It may take a minute or two between wave if you clear fast. The 3rd wave is the boss Pure Flame Elemental. This event is pretty easy. Kill it and loot Wisp of Pure Flame.

Step 8

Go to back Lavastorm Mountains and locate Talwyn Flamecaller (+2180, -1040). Give him Wisp of Pure Flame. He will hand it back and you'll receive emote:

Step 9

Go to Siren's Grotto with a group or two and locate Mistress of the Darkwater. She spawns in the siren area down the well. Go to the top of the ramps. Kill her and loot Shard of Pure Ice.

• Hits 700+

• Casts Drowning Panic (PBAE, -15% Melee Haste, Small DoT, Disease Based)

Step 10

Go to back Lavastorm Mountains and locate Talwyn Flamecaller (+2180, -1040). Give him Shard of Pure Ice. He will hand it back and you'll receive emote:

Go to Plane of Tranquility and locate Kalym Rasalan (-300, -1150). "Hail" him to receive Silken Tapestry.

Step 12

Get Tailoring to 125: ​Tailoring Guide

Step 13

Tailoring Combines:

1) Combine 2x Spiderling Silk to create Silk Thread. Do this 3 times so you have 3 Silk Thread.

2) Combine 3x Silk Thread to create Silk Cord.

3) Buy a Backpack Pattern (Higwyn Matrick in Plane of Knowledge - Use Find)

4) Combine Backpack Pattern, Silk Cord, Silken Tapestry to create Silken Tapestry Satchel (8-slot container).

Step 14

Go to back Lavastorm Mountains and locate Talwyn Flamecaller (+2180, -1040). Give him Silken Tapestry Satchel (8-slot container). He will hand it back and emote:

Collect 5 items:

Prismatic Crystal

1) Cohesion Gem - Kill mobs in Plane of Innovation. This is a random zone-wide drop. Uncommon Drop.

2) Prismatic Crystal - Twilight Sea - Ground spawn (+4270, +1340)

3) Prismatic Crystal - Veksar - Ground spawn - Has a couple different spawn locations.

Also spawns in a pool - see map (you may need to duck to see under the water)

Other unconfirmed locations are:

-95, +400 - On edge of water

4) Prismatic Crystal - Dulak's Harbor - Drops from Treasure Sorter Neiben. His PH is a shady treasure sorter mobs. 15.5 minute respawn. Always drops.

5) Prismatic Crystal - Timorous Deep - Ground spawn (+5615, -4225)

Step 16

Combine the following into Silken Tapestry Satchel (8-slot container) to create Full Tapestry Satchel.

Wisp of Pure Flame

Shard of Pure Ice

Staff of Fluxing Power

Cohesion Gem

4x Prismatic Crystal

Step 17

Go to back Lavastorm Mountains and locate Talwyn Flamecaller (+2180, -1040). Give him Full Tapestry Satchel to receive your 1.5 Epic: Staff of Prismatic Power!
