Staff of Phenomenal Power (16576)

To begin this quest you must have completed the Wizard 1.5 Epic quest.

Pre-Farmable Steps

• Step 5 - Loot Globe of Discordant Energy from Anguish.

Step 1 - Lavastorm

• Find Talwyn Flamecaller in Lavastorm Mountains
• Hail Talwyn to receive a character flag (required first step)

Step 2 - Dranik's Scar

• Find Grathnok Gilforgan in Dranik's Scar
• Say "globe of pure discordant energy" and "hold" (optional)
• Say "intricate horn of galien" (required step)

Step 3 - Muramite Proving Grounds

• Find Lightningcaller Vhalek in Muramite Provinggrounds with a raid (2 hour respawn)
• Kill Vhalek and loot Intricate Horn of Galien (15825) dropped (must be on step - chance to spawn chest)
  • Casts 6188 Defiance of the Lightningcaller (-750 mana/tick, -225 ac, -750 atk curse hatelist)
  • Casts 6189 Cursed Touch of the Lightningcaller (4k dd, reduced skill damage curse hatelist)
  • Casts 4135 Bone Strike (4k dd, 6 sec stun on target)

Step 4 - Dranik's Scar

• Return to Grathnok Gilforgan in Dranik's Scar
• Give Grathnok Intricate Horn of Galien (15825) dropped to receive a character flag

Step 5 - Anguish

• Raid Anguish, the Fallen Palace and obtain a Globe of Discordant Energy (47100) dropped
• Drops from the following events:
  • Keldovan the Harrier/Jelvan (only one of the two based on who you kill last)
  • Warden Hanvar/Ture (only one of the two based on who you kill last)
  • Arch Magus Vangl
  • Overlord Mata Muram

Step 6 - Lavastorm

• Return to Talwyn Flamecaller in Lavastorm Mountains
• Give Talwyn Globe of Discordant Energy (47100) dropped to receive Broken Orb of Discordant Energy (15836) and Broken Orb of Discordant Energy (16147)
• Say "final tasks" (optional - replaces broken orbs if lost)

Step 7 - Dreadlands

• Go to Dreadlands to the Spire Area. Levitate to the top of the largest Northwest Spire (see map). At the top you'll see 5 glowing ground-spawns
• Click on one to open a "Spacial Distortion" container
• Combine Broken Orb of Discordant Energy (16147) in the container to receive Infused Orb of Discordant Energy (16451)

Step 8

• Go to Mons Letalis Wizard Spires. You'll need to go into the caves in the center of the zone in order to get up the tower
• Levitate to the top of the Northwest Spire (see map). At the top you'll see 4 glowing ground-spawns. Click on one to open a "Spacial Distortion" container
• Combine Broken Orb of Discordant Energy (15836) in the container to receive Infused Orb of Discordant Energy (16334)

Step 9 - Lavastorm

• Return to Talwyn Flamecaller in Lavastorm Mountains
• Give Talwyn Infused Orb of Discordant Energy (16334), Infused Orb of Discordant Energy (16451) and Staff of Prismatic Power (12665) merchant (1.5) to receive your epic 2.0 Staff of Phenomenal Power (16576)
