Wizard 2.0 Epic Guide

Staff of Phenomenal Power

To begin this quest you must have completed the Wizard 1.5 Epic quest.

Pre-Farmable Steps

Step 5 - Loot Globe of Discordant Energy from Anguish.

Step 1

Go to Lavastorm Mountains and locate Talwyn Flamecaller (+2180, -1040).

"Hail" him to receive emote:

Step 2

Go to Dranik's Scar and locate Grathnok Gilforgan (-460, +150). Say "intricate horn of galien" to receive emote:

Step 3

Go to Muramite Proving Grounds with a raid and locate Lightningcaller Vhalek. Kill it and loot

Intricate Horn of Galien.

• Hits 2500+

• Flurries

• Immune to slow

• Casts Defiance of the Lightningcaller (NPC Hatelist, -750 Mana/Tick, -750 Attack, -225 AC, -25 Casting level, Fire Based, Curse Cure)

• Casts Cursed Touch of the Lightningcaller (NPC Hatelist, -35% Skill Damage, 4200 DD, Fire Based, Curse Cure)

• Casts Bone Strike (Single Target, 4000 DD + 6 second stun, Disease Based)

Step 4

Go back to Dranik's Scar and locate Grathnok Gilforgan (-460, +150). Give him Intricate Horn of Galien to receive emote:

Step 5

Raid Anguish and obtain a Globe of Discordant Energy.

Drops from the following events:

Keldovan the Harrier/Jelvan (only one of the two based on who you kill last)

Warden Hanvar/Ture (only one of the two based on who you kill last)

Arch Magus Vangl

Overlord Mata Muram

Step 6

Go back to Lavastorm Mountains and locate Talwyn Flamecaller (+2180, -1040). Give him Globe of Discordant Energy to receive 2x Broken Orb of Discordant Energy.

Step 7

Go to Dreadlands to the Spire Area. Levitate to the top of the largest Northwest Spire (see map). At the top you'll see 5 glowing ground-spawns. Click on one to open a "Spacial Distortion" container. Put your lime green colored Broken Orb of Discordant Energy in it to create Infused Orb of Discordant Energy.

Step 8

Go to Mons Letalis Wizard Spires. You'll need to go into the caves in the center of the zone in order to get up the tower. Levitate to the top of the Northwest Spire (see map). At the top you'll see 4 glowing ground-spawns. Click on one to open a "Spacial Distortion" container. Put your teal colored Broken Orb of Discordant Energy in it to create Infused Orb of Discordant Energy.

Step 9

Go back to Lavastorm Mountains and locate Talwyn Flamecaller (+2180, -1040). Give him 2x Infused Orb of Discordant Energy and your 1.5 Epic: Staff of Prismatic Power to receive your 2.0 Epic: Staff of Phenomenal Power!
