General Information

EQTitan is an eqemulator Everquest game server that strives to be live-like in era with a few quality of life changes.

Running multiple characters (multi boxing) is encouraged but not required. Playing a single character is perfectly fine but honestly you may have a difficult time. Macroquest2 is allowed with approved plugins. There is no character or client limit - many players box three or more groups or however many their computer can handle. The general rule is that you must be at the keyboard while characters are operating (no afk exp) and none of the cheating mq2 plugins that allow warping/ghostkilling or other cheating.

Raid progression is live-like with a few noted exceptions (Progression).

Private Login Server

EqTitan has a private login server
To use the private login server, each account must first login via eqemulator's login server and then use the command /say #register
#register forumname password
The "forumname" is the eqtitan.com forum username (user lower case if you get an error)
The "password" is the password you want to use for the private login server - it does not have to match the forum password
Using the #register command also enables various website tool features such as searching your inventory, scribed spells and zone flags

GMs

Very few people have access to any GM #commands - aka status - since the server started only four people have had access
The limited GM accounts is intentional to prevent corruption - we treat server integrity very seriously
Do not bother asking if a GM will give you GM access, free levels or summon items because we do not do that on this server (we get asked a lot and always say no)
Generally, items accidentally deleted or looted on the wrong character will not be replaced - exceptions only if the item is rare or hard to get
Your first source of help with a problem should be in the server wide /ooc or in Discord - the community here is extremely helpful and can solve most problems
Please do not ask "is there a gm online" - this doesn't mean the GMs aren't helpful, but nearly every time this has been asked the follow up question could have been answered by the community in /ooc
If the issue is something you believe only a GM can handle, please use /petition with a full description of the problem and it will notify us on Discord
Bugs should be reported in Discord #bug-reports or /bug command

Things not found on EQTitan server

No mercenary npcs you can hire as group members
No Out of Combat increased regen
No Defiant armor items

Changes on EQTitan Different Than Live

EQTitan strives to be in-era live-like. There are some things intentionally different, mostly quality of life things.

New Player Assistance

Buff bot NPCs in the Guild Lobby to help leveling new characters
Twilight armor easier for new characters more info
Corpse Summoners (A Priest of Luclin) in Guild Lobby
Increased platinum and gem drops in some zones: sebilis, hole, rathe mountains giants and cyclops, dulak harbor, nadox, droga
Velious quested armor gems sold by Lkagonji Uranen in The Bazaar
Free Veteran AAs
LDoN camp Magus can be used at level 1 without the Adventurer's stone quest

General

/ooc chat is server wide and can be read on Discord
Hotzones give zones experience bonus randomly chosen every Monday (/say #hotzones) Hotzone List
Increased mana, hitpoint and endurance regeneration in Guild Hall and Thundercrest (Donor Hall)
Sitting increases endurance regeneration
Food and drink provide normal stat bonuses, but no penalties if hungry/thirsty - MacroQuest.ini can set FilterFood=1 to hide the messages
Allakhazam lists many spells being sold in Plane of Knowledge that were added after our era and not on EQTitan. Use the Spells Tool to find a vendor
Bazaar offline sellers more information
Items sold by offline sellers can be purchased on the Website Tool and then claimed in game from Parcel NPCs.
Plastic Surgeon NPC in the Plane of Knowledge (near Guild Lobby zone) allows easy race or name changes and guild creation
Fabled NPCs spawn all the time instead of seasonally. They spawn non-agro and can be told to "go away" to spawn the non-fabled named
Splitpaw original and revamped Infected zones are both available
Freeport and Commons use the original multi zones - not the revamped merged
LDoN Adventure Stone charm maximum stats are twice as high as live and is increased at a different rate (80 wins for each of the five themes to give 200% stats)
LDoN raids give points and count as wins for the Adventure Stone

Travel

Mysterious Voices spawn at many zone points to help with zoning entire groups or raids
Thundercrest zone is used as a Donor Hall with various quality of life benefits for those who donate to the server more info
LDoN camp Magus will port entire group or raid and does not require level 15 or Adventurer's Stone
LDON adventures do require the quest (can do any race's quest if faction is not an issue) Guide

Raids

No 85/15% rule for progression flagging - All characters must be flagged
Experience is drastically reduced while in a raid, similar to live servers at the time
Nalasrine solutions for Qvic armor are only 5kpp each
Umbricite Swarm Orb from Vex Thal is an area shrink
Planar Projections and other flagging NPCs will generally flag all characters in range with a single hail
Plane of Time B and Vex Thall raid zones are instanced expeditions
Plane of Time B has npc porters to graveyard so you don’t have to leave the zone after completing each section of phases 1 and 2
Plane of Sky island keys are not norent and will go /keyring and portals port all characters in range
Turning in a single item to Sirran the Lunatic in Plane of Sky will automatically turn in the item and give the key for all characters in range
Veeshan Peak 1.0 is available and requires key - 2.0 requires full key

Spells

Assistant to Maelin in Plane of Knowledge will accept two Greater Rune Ward spells (for any class) and return one Greater Rune Ward
Berserker Tome of Rage Volley (76052) is available - give a Spectral Parchment (29131) dropped to Trelli Steelswinger in Plane of Knowledge
Shaman Spell: Spirit of the Jaguar (77867) dropped is available - drops from A Shissar Priest in Ssraeshza Temple

Quests

Epic 1.0 quests must be done before epic 1.5 quest can be done, there’s no alternate prequest
Aid Silverwing quests available in Plane of Knowledge Guide or Guide
Watchmaker quests available in Plane of Knowledge Guide
Planes of Power alternate access quests are available but do not count for raid zone progression (potime)
Gates of Discord flagging progression must be done fully as original Guide
